Great spot to stop in, grab a bite to eat and a coffee. The brekky wrap was great! As was the slice of cake. Oat coffee was probably a little too hot for my liking, but hey, might be suited to somebody else’s taste. Nice gardens down the side of the verandah

What a fabulous coffee shop, lovely setting, very arty. Excellent coffee and Hummingbird Cake.

Great little find, an oasis in the desert. How nice to find a place with greenery & shade & fans outdoor seating. The place looks great & the food does not disappoint. Every time I am on way to Cairns inland I make a stop here & never disappointed

Quaint cafe with a lovely wide shady verandah. Good coffee, homemade cakes and inexpensive lunches, e.g. a generous serve of calamari, chips & salad for $15. A very pleasant place to stop.

Great little cafe! Best breakfast we had on our trip. Lovely staff. Cute decor as well, including the resident friendly cat. Definitely made the list of places to stop on future trips.

Service was great. We had coffee and a breakfast wrap. The coffee was perfect temperature and not bitter. Tasted great. The breakfast wrap was delicious.
They had heaps of seating inside and out and was a beautiful atmosphere.

Great spot to stop after a long drive, had a steak burger and long black coffee both of which were fantastic.
Really well priced with a beautiful verandah dining area that lets a cool breeze blow through from the shady trees that border it.
Service was spot on and friendly staff brought out my order.
Well worth it for sure.

Having forced down some spectacularly bad coffees on the road out to Longreach, Fanny Mae’s in Tambo was surprisingly good. Lovely woman at the counter, a bit of atmosphere and an arty horse made from wooden branches to complete the experience. Worth a stopover and I’ll be back if/when I pass this way again.

This place is well taken care off and the coffee, food and cakes are all tasty!

An impromptu stop here was a wonderful experience. Accommodates take out plus eating inside or on the verandah of this cottage. The staff are so friendly and we had burgers with the lot on Turkish - delicious and so fresh ingredients - plus pot tea with strength.
Don't hesitate for a quick meal or snack and the pastries looked great too.

Delicious meal and friendly service. Nice coffee, great spot to sit outside and lovely atmosphere. Very reasonably priced for such a lovely meal. Will come back again.
