Tambo Mill Motel & Caravan Park

What a great park. The owners were super friendly, the park was immaculate. The bathrooms were squeaky clean, which I’m always so grateful for. We wandered around Tambo as the park is right in the thick of it, then we had a great night at the chicken races and grabbed a great coffee from across the road on our way out of town in the morning. Wonderfully located.

A lovely stay, we stayed in one of the motel rooms it was very clean well kept and nice warm blankets. The park its self was so well kept and just a lovely place to be. Reception welcomed us with warm arms and were very friendly. Would stay again.

Great little caravan park. Amenities spotless. Owners are lovely and helped us out of a sticky situation with a blown tyre. Easy walk across the road to town. Well recommended.

Fabulous Caravan Park with all sites drive through, you don’t have to unhitch as it is right in town so you can walk to everything. The amenities are always clean and smell beautiful and fresh all day long. Thoroughly recommend a stop here

Stayed on a nice, easy access drive through powered site in recent days. Hosts are lovely and park is clean and tidy. We always stay her when in Tambo. Thanks.

Stayed just the one night, but could have easily stayed more. New caretakers, Marco & Narelle (?), were both very attentive, responsive and helpful. The surroundings were beautifully kept, everything neat and amenities clean. Lots of green grass. Situated almost opposite the pub with chicken races and next door to supermarket. Highly recommend.

Had a powered site at Tambo with welcome from Nerida and Marko first class, they couldn't do enough for us over the 2 nights there.
This is a mixed location with units and caravan sites, drive through or static. The site we were on was excellent and close to the swimming pool and the clean facilities.
We would highly recommend this location for a couple of days, the green grass and great surroundings (Including the pub) made this a great place for a stop on our travels.

Stayed here on the way from Brisbane to Longreach. Really clean and motel, friendly hosts, in a super convenient position - beside a supermarket and across the road from the two pubs. Highly recommended.

Had a powered site for two nights.
Ammendies spotlessly clean and the owners very friendly. Would definitely recommend to stay and we will be back

We are in a caravan , best park ever ,and an awsome man named Marko will show u to your site , such a lovely in the office , nothing is 2 much trouble , this is what u want when travelling in vans , thank u so much for your help and kindness ,please travellors a must 😀 😊

Tina and Al great hosts at Tambo Mill motel and caravan park. Nice rooms and pool. Very close to the pub with biggest crumb steaks in Tambo.
Fabulous stop when travelling through to refresh for a days driving.

Stopped in at 7pm as they were closing and got a site for our rooftop tent for $35 (only have powered). Managers were lovely and helpful, clean amenities, across the road from two pubs. Concrete slab at the camping site.

Great time was had in Tambo.
Pub has chicken races every night funniest thing to see and enjoy.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The couple that run the park are so friendly and helpful. Amenities are clean and well maintained, drive through sites are great, especially if you want to stay hitched. Attractions are all within walking distance. Make sure you see the chicken races at the pub.

We stayed recently at this great little caravan park which had all that we required. Electricity , water and wifi and clean facilities for $35 was exceptional value for a regional town. Hosts very helpful and are there to guide you onto your site, Helpful after a long day. With a cafe across the road , ‘Mary and Martha’ , a food works next door and two pubs you are well situated to get a meal. Great spot!

Fantastic little park. Allen and his wife are the loveliest people on the planet. The amenities are always clean, the pool is pristine and all just a walk from everything. Little cafe across the road, supermarket right next door and 2 pubs a stones throw. This place is a hidden gem. Just loved it.

We stayed there on our way through recently and it was great to have a drive through site for our caravan. The people who run the park are great and friendly and offer help where possible. The best part was going across the road to the pub and watching the chickens race. Great value, clean and tidy place to stay at.
