Darlington Point Motel

Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully appointed motel room. Very comfortable bed. Friendly and efficient people who made the effort to contact me to let me know I’d left an item behind.
Easy walk to local club.

Stayed over from our trip back to Sydney from Adelaide, really loved the setup, and owners were extremely accommodating and approachable. They also called to let me know my wife had left one of her rings behind so that we could come back to get it. We will definitely drop by when driving by again.

Accommodation for my doggo and I (pet friendly room) was great.
Stayed for a night just before Christmas.
Booking & check-in was easy. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Very clean rooms, comfortable bed.
Aircon quiet & worked well.
Perfect amenities for an overnight stay.

Jo and Rob have got this so right. I always stay at Hay but was unhappy with the " familiarity breeds contempt " at my accommodation, so tried Darlington Point. Well worth the stay, but don't order Xhinese from the club,really bad

Great little stop-over, clean rooms, warm showers and walking distance to bowling club. Very friendly & welcoming host - Rob made us feel very welcome & helped us settle in.

The rooms are so tidy and lovely for such a great price! The showers temperature and pressure is perfect.
Owners are incredibly lovely and have gone above and beyond with their hospitality! We got little Easter treats for Easter Day.

They were also very accommodating with our early departure :)

I haven't stayed here yet but I know the owners and they are very well respected in the community and I know Jo will look after you and keep things tip top for stayers no matter what time of the year great location central to everything and wheelchair access 👍 😀 👏

We ended up at this motel after being unable to find dog friendly accommodation in Griffith and were so pleasantly surprised both by the town and the accommodation. The room was clean and spacious with lots of thoughtful inclusions. Also a fabulous camp kitchen and adjoining pool room. Joanne and Robert were fabulous hosts who really went over and above to make us feel welcome and share information about the town. Beautiful setting with river and wetlands in close walking distance.

What a little gem this place was. So neat, clean and well appointed. Little extras made our stay very comfortable. The camp kitchen was an added bonus that's unusual for motels but so handy for travellers. We will definitely stay again when in the area. Thanks Jo!

Great new motel with modern, clean and comfortable rooms. It was a real bonus to find such good accommodation to stay in with my dog. The owners Robert and Joanne were super helpful and friendly too. There's a communal area with a pool table and indoor area where guests can enjoy toast for breakfast with their fellow travellers. Good value. Highly recommend! There's a handy cafe/takeaway a short walk away too.

The DP Motel gets favourable reviews because it’s run by friendly people (who do wonders with their towel art), have a clean and quiet motel tucked away in a back street. The bed was comfy, plenty of hot water, and short walk to the pub. Or try the pizza place, they do a decent pizza!
It’s 30 minutes to Griffith, and makes an ideal base if you wanted to do day trips to wineries, the Malthouse, zoo or Shearer’s Museum.

New, clean and comfortable. A great place to stay. The hosts are amazing and make things easy when you've travelled a long way.

I am a return customer and it feels like visiting family, like the nice family you want to visit. Nice little touches like a plastic storage box with plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, detergent and a tea towel. Plenty of milk, cold water and glasses in the fridge. Really nice.

I needed pet friendly accommodation at short notice and am so happy to have found Darlington Point Motel. The room was spacious, well appointed, clean and modern. The owners were very accommodating and welcoming. Darlington Point is a lovely quiet town with bushland surrounds and the motel is close to pub and takeaway.

This is the perfect budget friendly accommodation!! Rooms were clean & tidy, communal area was top notch (complete with fire place & pool table), and the owners were LOVELY!! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely over night stay! I requested a pet friendly room very short notice and the owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room itself was very clean with modern amenities ! We’d definitely stay here again

What a find this Motel has been as one that has stayed in the area before for work at some of the other Accommodations in the area this is now my go-to place. Friendly Staff Clean and quiet rooms and a good decked out common area Tv, Cooking Etc there's been a lot thought gone into the set up here and the owners should be given a big thank you from us Travelling Workers
