Nice modern cabins. We stayed in cabin 7. Our cabin was mostly clean and inviting - plenty big enough for the two of us. It is a fair walk from the carpark to the cabins mind you. The cabins share walls so a bit annoying when you have late comers entering - you can hear all footsteps, toilet flush, shower running, so loud.
please spend some time scrubbing the shower screen, it’s a bit grotty and wouldn’t take much to clean, & would make a big difference!!
Good to have the kettle and toaster and great size fridge, cooker, well equipped kitchen.
I would prefer the tv in the bedroom but obviously no room.
After reading all the bad reviews on the hotels in Hay it was definitely worth driving the extra bit from Adelaide to get here.

Our recent stay at the Darlington Point Caravan Park was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that we had chosen the perfect place for our getaway.

The house we stayed in exceeded our expectations in every way. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of adventure. The air conditioning provided a welcome relief from the warm weather, keeping us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. Additionally, the well-equipped kitchen had all the utilities we needed, making meal preparation a breeze.

Wicked place to stay! The cabins are brand new and super stylish. Lots of space, clean, quiet and have all the amenities you need. Located just a minute from the river and national park land, as well as a great cafe. Can’t wait to go back!

We stayed here for a night when driving across Victoria and it was the perfect stop along the way. Check-in was extremely easy with lock boxes and the grounds and cabins are beautiful and it looks like it's growing into a lovely location. The only thing that will stop us from coming back was the cleanliness of our cabin.

We're not clean freak people by any stretch, but it looked like the cabin we stayed in had been tidied but not properly cleaned in a while.

There were greasy hand marks across the kitchen cabinets, the toilet in the main bathroom had not been cleaned (there was yellow urine stains around the rim and usage marks inside the toilet bowl) and there was orange scum around the taps and drains in the basin and shower. It just felt a bit yucky. Not sure if it was an oversight but that stuff builds up over time so it makes us wonder if it was a one off.

If we knew the cleanliness was upgraded then we would come back and stay in a heartbeat.

When booking I was unaware that the Accommodation was a distance from the caravan park. Also, it is a walk from the parking area to the cabin which meant carrying our gear, which was inconvenient. However, lovely new cabin with everything we needed. Space for kids to play.

Booked and paid for my accommodation in October for a March long weekend stay. Travelled from Tasmania, arrived at destination to find there was no booking or room available. Give credit, Luke the new manager was apologetic and went out of his way to find and pay for accommodation be it 33 klms from Darlington point. Seems to be the town as relatives who had booked at alternative accomodation arrived to find the same issue only they had to pay for alternative accomodation.
