Mount Perry Federal Inn

Nice restaurant with more than chips and schnitzels. It does have schnitzels which sounded inviting but we tried some of the more interesting items and enjoyed them all. Interesting to find a gem like this in the middle of nowhere. Definitely would have gone again if we had have stayed another night.

Lance, Samantha, Mel and co made our stay in Mt Perry most enjoyable. We were attending a family wedding. The rooms where clean and nicely appointed. The meals were delicious and well presented. The calamari in my seafood basket was so tender and beautifully cooked. The service for both the rooms and meals was second to none. Everyone was very accommodating to requests. Lance and Samantha had only recently taken over (we arrived on day 8 of their ownership), they did an outstanding job for people who only recently started working in the hospitality industry. I am sure they will go from strength to strength as their experience in the area grows. A special shout out to Mel who indulged my love of Garth Brooks by changing the playlist. All in all we had a great time and the Inn felt like a home away from home. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Mt Perry. All in all highly recommend the Inn for both accommodation and food.

Very comfortable rooms. Didn't get to eat there unfortunately because they close at 2.00pm on Sunday. Had a chat with the owner on Monday morning as we were leaving, friendly guy who says their steak is the best so we'll be going back sometime to find out.

The new owners have only started 6 weeks ago and the food was great and the drinks were icy cold. The building was originally an old movie theatre. The walls have original movie posters salvaged from old movie theatres. Well worth the visit. It also has accommodation as well.

Had lunch and a few rums here today. The very best yummiest gravy I have ever had. We had Pie, Gravy & Chips snd the Rissoles. Beautiful clean and welcoming place. 200% recommend. Don’t touch the mangoes on the tree, they belong to cranky neighbor.

Absolutely the best steaks I've had in a very long time. Service is proper old school country service at its best. Love staying here.

Had a great stay at the Inn on the weekend. Food was great, staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
Would recommend calling in for lunch if passing through or stopping the night, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. New owners doing a great job.

Amazing place to stay. The rooms are adequate but the place is delightful. Set in a cosy part of Mount Perry, views of the creek from the dining room give it a relaxing ambience. Even if you're only visiting, make sure you get a steak from the restaurant. You'll not regret it.

Made our booking here at short notice - room was clean and had all the basic amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Gorgeous location and well priced.

Excellent customer service food great

Great meals at a great price if your in the area and feel like good home cooking I can greatly recommend this place. First time in a while I have felt satisfied and not ripped off 🙂

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday drive. Lovely meals sitting on the back deck overlooking the trees on the hills, peaceful and quiet. The food was beautiful

Amazing meals, Great customer service, Very friendly atmosphere. Amazing place to visit for film history as the Federal Inn is an old picture theater.
