The New Royal Hotel Rubyvale

Stopped in for a cold beer after doing some gem fossicking down the road. Was pleased we arrived for "happy hour" and only $5 scooners!! Excellent pub, awesome smoking area with cool water mist blowing to keep you cool. Fantastic staff and friendly locals... highly recommended (even a bottle shop on premises).

Great find in Rubyvale, clean modern reasonably priced venue. Family friendly and highly recommended. Had the Chicken Curry off the special's board and it was faultless.

Friendly bunch of down to earth Aussies, loved hanging with Chip, thanks Steve. Also fantastic work with the misting sprays out the front was a God send. Live music was great, Thankyou everyone 🙏 ❤

Could not rate this place enough! Was staying at the Rubyvale Caraven Park. Amazing service. Super friendly staff. Food was great. Definitely a must!

If you are visiting Rubyvale we highly recommend eating at the pub and staying in the accommodation. Meals where generous and very tasty. Steak was cooked to perfection.
We loved the old log cabin style. It was very clean and comfortable. There was an open fire place which we thoroughly enjoyed with our bottle of red from the bottleshop as it was a little chilly 6° outside. The reverse cycle air-conditioning helped during the night too.
Will stay here again👍😍

Log cabin with fireplace was amazing, great pub with daily meal specials, delicious food & great service. Friday nite raffles & live entertainment was in full swing. Central location, courtesy bus if you are staying elsewhere, ticks all the boxes.

We went for dinner on a quiet Monday night and the meals were excellent. The service was friendly and it has a nice welcoming atmosphere. It has a good beer selection for a small country town pub and a drive through attached.

Loved this pub. The staff were just lovely making us feel more than welcome. Came back twice, second time for lunch. I had a steak melt which was huge and my husband had the fish and chips.

Great place to wet the whistle and have some food.
Beer is always cold, and the staff are very friendly.
I had a steak burger for dinner did it came with chips and a steak burger was huge & very good.
We came back for dinner with friends also.
The food was affordable and was good.

Try the Jalapeno Poppers, they are very good.
The staff were very accommodating for the two vegetarians in our group.
When we booked we let them know and they had cooked Vegetarian Lasagne especially for us, which was nice, and very tasty.
I had the Reef and Beef which was one of the best I have had.

One of the best hotels in Queensland! We had lovely meals both nights that we went for dinner, beer was cold and the service was second to none. The friendly staff accommodated us and our 3yo son like family - genuinely great people who are masters at hospitality. We will be back next year on our annual Gemfields pilgrimage. Highly recommended place for a good feed and good cheer.

Best hamburger ever with chips very quick service even though they were very busy. Well worth the drive and money

Quite possible the only pub in town open for and until dinner. Serves large portions but makes it easy to finish as everything is delicious. We had the rubyvale chicken, lamb roo, and pecan pie. Kangaroo spring rolls were also tasty. Desserts are worth to try. Would not hesitate to go back for their hefty serving of bangers and mash in case we find ourselves back there again.

This is a gem of a hotel, amazing hospitality, food and atmosphere. We stayed two nights in a cabin it was very cosy and comfortable. Thanks so much Michelle and Brett for having us. Kind regards Margie and Maha.

Awesome, great publicans,great staff great food at reasonable prices...beer is always cold.
if looking for accommodation book a cottage, they are rustic and so cool and can accomodate groups.
Highly recommend when in the qld gemfields
