M & M Sapphires

The lovely couple who run this shop are amazing people! My husband called a couple of stores at the gemfields when he was wanting to purchase an engagement ring and this store is the only one who seemed interested. Hubby travelled 2 hours to this store as my dream was always a yellow sapphire engagement ring and they closed the store and brought out so many stones for him to choose the right one for a ring set. We have since been back to get this ring and other rings cleaned up before the big day and will soon be going back to get the engagement and wedding band fused together. We took our o/s family here a couple made some purchases. These wonderful people could not do more for us! Highly recommend and I know when I want some more sapphires, this is where I will be going!

Had some sapphires given to me by my mother in-law, that were cut by her late husband. These guys were were friendly, and very helpful in assisting me in choosing the perfect setting for 2 rings and a pendant. They also had an amazing range of their own locally mined sapphires and gorgeous set pieces.
I will be referring everyone to M&M Sapphires.

Great variety and top quality of stones. Something for everyone I thought. Friendly, very helpful and experienced couple, whom you can trust. Not pushy. Mark mines all his sapphires himself, so you know what you're looking at is the real thing.

Excellent service and knowledge of all things sapphire. Excellent range of unique jewellery and gems. Would highly recommend a visit if you are shopping for local stones and jewellery.

The lady was setting up shop but welcomed us in she chattered while setting up and explained all about the stones and designer. Prices are very reasonable compared to the one's.

Rude service on the phone.
I rung the landline twice, 18 minutes apart with no answer. So I tried the mobile, lady picked up, I asked her what time she was open and she said with attitude, "I'm open now", I said "ok no worries, I had just tried calling the land line twice with no response". She replied with attitude, "yeah I'm busy I have customers I can't just pick up the phone". Talk about your rude service!. I asked my question anyway, she said "no". And even if she had have said yes I would definitely wouldn't have gone to her store to spend my money. I will happily take my business elsewhere. May I suggest you get an answering service so you can return the calls when you are in a better mood. Or hire extra staff.

Absolutely appalling service, Not very friendly, rather rude. Wouldn't waste my time here again.
Make sure you stop at any of the other jewellers.

Edit: Make sure if you do decide to enter the premises, you dont accidentally forget to pull the mask you are wearing up over your nose in the first split second. If you do, expect to be snapped at by a disembodied voice and then have all greetings and pleasantries forgone. No friendly reminder or even a hello once you apologise and comply happily and they do appear from the back. You wont be spoken to unless you speak first and expect to feel like they would literally rather be doing anything else.
