Rubyvale Caravan Park

We stayed for 5 days.
The experience with the park caretakers Lyle and Trish Was amazing.
They help us understand some of the local customs. We would and will go there again. Also a mention the pool was one of the cleanest I have ever used.

Great little caravan park right opposite the pub. Went in the office season so didn't need to book, highly recommend booking way in advance for peak fossicking season. Beautifully kept and clean.

Owners are great old timers relax vibe and plenty in the washed out hill's if ya not colour blind sapphire's everywhere

Lovely camp site - beautifully cared for and very clean. Great value and also has coin operated washing machines. Bought some bags of wash from reception and found some great little sapphires. They lent us the sieves to sift through and have a corner of the site dedicated to wash and sorting for sapphires.

We've just had a great short break reminiscing on gemmies accommodation in fully self contained cabin perfect clean quiet park walking straight across Rd for great meals and service at rubyvale hotel more great service and strudel at muggachinos up the Rd and excellent friendly grocer store. Heaps of little jewelry stores. We were locals from 70s to 80s but after all these years away the from the gem fields any modernizations have been done in keeping with the the same old rustic style of our gemmies I love it thanks to all

Immaculately maintained caravan park with a lovely little pool and laundry/entertainment room complete with community library and DVDs. Showers and toilets are very clean. Shower water pressure could be improved as it takes longer to shower with so little water.

This is our third time stayed here love it
New owners are very nice people.

Amenities are nice and clean, owners are nice and friendly. The grounds are small but there was a decent amount of space to get around. Pub across the road for a good feed and park very close.

Great sites and clean amenities.
This site makes it easy to access the local fossicking areas and even has a wash station.
Across from the pub makes it easy to grab a meal and a beer but can make it a bit noisy on the weekend evenings.
Friendly owners and guests are all happy to help point you in the right direction to find sapphires!

This was our second visit to Rubyvale Caravan Park thr first being visit caravan this tine with a trailer staying in a Cabin. Excellent Park with Service "second to none" brilliant with service to match. Thanks for a memorable (short) stay we will b back!!

Lovely little caravan park stayed for 2 nights. Mick was so helpful when setting up our van. Our power lead was a little short so he lent us one. The park is so clean and the amenities as well. Swimming pool was so refreshing after exploring the area. Pub across the road. Thankyou for our stay . Mark and Janette

A lovely camp ground with clean amenities. Staff are great and offer all the best advice on fossicking for sapphire.

Really great place to stay. Really good value, kid friendly, good amenities with a good size pool. Perfect on a hot day.

Friendly, accommodating and the best place to be in the Gemfields. The amenities are super clean and the pool is cool. We will be back next year. We have a camper and hooked into water and power...$31 per night.

Clean and spacious cabin in tidy caravan park. There is a pool and laundry and other facilities common to caravan parks. Staff is friendly and welcoming and location in the heart of the gemfields is ideal. One of my favourite part of the world.

Well run and maintained park with all the facilities you need. Bathrooms, gardens and pool are all kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
Easy walking distance to shop and the pub.
Lyle and Trish made us welcome from our arrival, helping with parking the van and teaching us some of the finer points of fossicking right in the park.
Can’t recommend highly enough and will stay again next trip.

We arrived at Rubyvale Caravan Park with the plan of a one night stop. After getting a warm and friendly reception from Vanessa and Mick we were shown the site and the facilities it had to offer. The pool, showers, toilets, and pitch were immaculate, and the bird wildlife was outstanding. We changed our plans for a three night stay and the whole visit was outstanding. Our thanks to Vanessa and Mick for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Sites are big, amenities are clean, great water pressure and great location. Can walk around town no issue!
