Baffle Creek Hideaway

A gorgeous; serene setting for anyone looking for a quite couple of days getaway.

The facilities were really clean and Warren is an amazing human being, very accommodating.

Great spot for fishing enthusiasts and only an hour away from Bundaberg and an hour away from Agnes Waters/1770.

I will be back next year :)!

I am a seasoned traveller from WA to Qld, this is THE BEST. On many different levels. You won't find better, I've tried. This place is a respite for this traveller with Ross River Virus, Breast Cancer and Depression, I feel it all melting away. I am so very happy here with my two very content little pooches. Have already recommended to my family and friends without hesitation. Well done Warren and Patti for creating a stunning oasis to be proud of. This place is inspirational and is a credit to you. Uplifting to the soul, regenerative and it gives me an energy that provides me with hope for the future. Thankyou.

One of the most magical places we’ve been! We didn’t plan to arrive here, got lost on the way and had no reception, but we were so lucky to find this place! Stayed with a tent for 2 night, warren the owner was so helpful and nice, toilets and showers are bigger and nicer than what I have back home.
Can’t wait to get back here.

Just an overnight stay but absolutely no complaints! A serene and picturesque site with clean and functional utilities and a warm and friendly welcome, at that price point what more do you want

I've now been back three times.
The hosts and their facilities are awesome and suit all types of mobile camping as well as a couple of cabins in a bush setting. Fishing along the creek is at its best in cooler months but The Hideaway is a good launch point for beach areas not too far away. The Baffle Creek shop and pub are a 5 minute drive and stock the important stuff like bread, bait ice and beer. There's some good 4wd tracks through Deepwater national Park if that's your preference but if sitting around a campfire is for you, then there is firewood available for a reasonable price and firepits available as well. Looking forward to our next visit.

A clean, comfortable and relaxing campsite right on the creek. The shower block is brand new and kept tidy, the campsites is roomy with power available for those who need to plug in. Loads of wildlife around and a local shop just down the road if you forgot some basics. The local pub has cold beer and burgers if you dont feel like cooking (check their timings) Ask nicely and you may even rent Warren's tinny, but be very careful of the creek which has some hidden rockbars. Will be back

Absolutely the best bush camp, Wazza and Patti the best hosts. We would like to thank you both for hosting our Glenwood Walker's for Health Holiday Retreat. And i am sure, we can't go pass this for next year. And yes we will give enough notice Wazza.

Absolute hidden treasure. The best of locations, pristine presentation, super friendly hosts. All types of camping catered for..cabins, caravans, campers, tents. Powered or unpowered, firewood and firepits. Two jetties, boat ramp and hire boats for the fishermen. So so quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be back.🙂

Campers n fishers take a moment 2 look this place over. Great spot, facilities, Warren our host is a most accommodating gentleman. Not enough space to put all the words of praise for this establishment. I wish we could rate 10 ⭐'s. Thank you Wazza for fitting our bus in last minute, especially when the fishing comp was on. The amenities are like no other. Absolutely incredible what you have achieved and would love to return if you'll have us.

We were fortunate to stay here for a week and I cant praise the place. Great location and your Host Wazza goes far and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. We stayed in the Cabin and it was amazingly furnished and set out. Everything you need is there at hand and if not its in 1 of the ample draws or cupboards. Honestly if you dont enjoy this place you cant be pleased.

Well what can I say we have just had the best 3 weeks holiday. Our hosts Warren and Patti would have to be the best ever hosits . Beautiful hot showers very clean amenities. We will be returning to the beautiful spot thanks again Gerald and leanne

Beautiful view of baffle Creek, lovely cabin all new interior very up market, And very nice people that own it . also you can fish 🐟🦀 at your front door if you want to. Very private and laid back . I would have to say one of the best spots in the area.

Great relaxing spot. The house is comfortable and well set up. Warren is a gracious and caring host who made our recent stay a pleasure.

A musttttt do this area is so beautiful serene and great caretaker ... well thought of well accommodated for ..we stayed in cabin house with my own little jetty !! Yeww crabs on too ;)

Aaahhhhh the serenity. I've stayed here a few times with many more to come. Wife and i were treated like royalty. This place is clean, roomy and you can fish and crab with little effort. Beds are sooo cozy. Everything is there. I take my rods but just mainly get one fish in ten minutes and spend the rest of the day looking at the view. Clearly the best accomodation weve seen. Couldn't believe the price was well within our meagre budget! Well done to the great owners!

It is a small but stunting campground right on the creek. Really enjoyed my visit. Very clean bathrooms.
