Old Inn Road Vineyard

Well I feel like i'm the luckiest gal, because I'm only two paddocks away from Old Inn Road Wine. Terrific people that work hard and have produced an amazing array of wines from their vineyard. Each year it's hard to pick a favorite, but as i'm a red and white lover, I am spoilt for choice. If your in the region, make sure you book a tasting, or see them at any of their markets. Congratulations Sooze and Dale (and faithful kelpie Tilda) on your terrific work. Barrington Coast is lucky to have you too.

Such a luxury to be able to purchase local wines in Bulahdelah. This boutique vineyard has the most crisp Vehdelho that really is my go to wine. Great people as well and it's a great place to book in for a tasting and look over the lovely vineyard. I was lucky enough to see their grapes on the vine, excited for this years vintage already.

For over 8 years I have experienced many a joyous occasion savouring the tasty sensations produced by Old Inn Road Vineyard. Additionally, I have been able to share some of these experiences with the owners, Dale and Sooze, a wonderful couple who are extremely passionate about producing great wines. My favourite verdelho wines both the still and sparkling. Owners are so welcoming and we loved the personal tour of the vineyards. Delicious wine consistently wins awards; well known locally it’s starting to turn heads here and overseas now amazing. A beautiful vineyard is tucked away off the highway in Bulahdelah next to the national park.

We love the wines from Old Inn Road Vineyard. They are our favourite, all yummy and very well priced. We have had many a glass with family and friends over the years. Owners are really lovely people too!

We are so lucky to have a local winery at Bulahdelah in the Barrington Coast that produces such amazing wines from three varieties. My favourite will always be Espu’delho, but I also do love the rich red of the Dolcetto and am excited each vintage to see what they come up with. Love taking visitors for winery tours and tastings that we book in overlooking the vineyard.

Dale and Sooze are wonderful hosts and make some lovely light style wine from less common grapes, that are very competitively priced.
They have conducted a number of wine tastings in our office which which are enjoyed by all. Selling a lot of wine too boot. We now have other tenants in the building joining in and enjoying the wines. The verdelho and sparkling chambourcin being very popular.

At a recent wedding reception we attended, all the wine on offer was from Old Inn Road.
The list included verdelho frizzante, Chambourcin, Verdelho and Blanc Noir! I know right- all tastes were catered for!
Many glasses were cheered I might say by the sheer number of empty bottles at the end of the night!

We have been drinking these beautiful wines for a few years now after having a wine tasting afternoon at Bulahdelah caravan park Dale aways is so absolutely amazing showing us their unique wines.

As someone who enjoys a sweeter drink, the Rosé Cabernet and Cabernet Frizzante from Old Inn Road are delicious. Owners are lovely!
