Nice place to stop off. Drinking water, BBQ, clean toilets (with soap!), undercover seating and interesting historical reading

Barbecue and picnic area to seat at least 12 people, running water and toilet facilities, great picnic area for the family and group events.

Lovely rest stop set well back from the road. Ideal to let your kids have a roam around not having to worry about cars flying by at speed

Always stop here on my way through Stroud. Nice little park, interesting history, good historical information, great view and cool cannons.

Toilets need refurbishment

Story of how the cannons got there and where they came from is worth a read. Grain storage silos are inaccessible underground and the one you can look down into is overgrown, so you can't see anything. But view is pretty.

There's table and chairs so bring a picnic if you want.
