Bush camping. Only drop toilets. Nice place if you want to relax and go for walks. No water. 4x4 only and good walking shoes needed. Camp fire allowed. Bring your own wood.

A lovely clean quiet campsite.
Despite it being Easter long weekend, we were the only ones there for the whole period with other campers only stopping by overnight.
Definitely 4WD only access but highly recommend visiting

Rough road in, but well worth the veiw, and if you're game to explore some less travelled tracks, some very decent streams for swimming

Great camping! Several large camp areas. Strictly 4WD access only from the Sundown Rd entrance. 200m trail to a great lookout facing South-West. Ideal for sunsets and end of season Milky Way...

Lovely Spot. Access is a bit rough and not for low-slung cars, but all 4WDs will get in. Thick bush, clear skies, consistent easterly breeze and a stunning vista across the gorge from the lookout. Has a small toilet block and remains of loose stone camp fires.
And it has mobile coverage - 1 bar 4G.

Fantastic camping area. We had plenty of space for our group. The views from the lookout are absolutely spectacular. The 4WD tracks around the park are brilliant fun, but be careful on all the sharp rocks and Respect the Bush.

A very easy 200m walk to the lookout suitable for elderly and young kids. A beautiful view of some very interesting landscape. 4wd access only, easy but slow going. Very rocky.. Tread lightly. Take nothing but your rubbish and photo's, leave nothing but footprints.

The lookout is well worth the drive. Only a short walk from the parking area. stunning views. As far as the camp site I'm not too sure. It's very small what seemed to be the camping area and the toilet block is tiny and pretty much ur basic bush toilet. Meat ants everywhere so I don't think you'd want to have any kids playing here. Wear good high shoes so you dont get bitten and be mindful of all the nests. As a day trip though its awesome. That view says it all

Sundown National Park is a remote wilderness area, the only visitor facilities are pit toilets at Red Rock Gorge and Burrows Waterhole camping areas. Access is by a very rough 4WD only track. Wildlife, seclusion, amazing vistas make this park a very special place.

Awesome spot. Great view from the lookout. Very quiet. Has toilets but could do with a bench or picnic table
