Just come back from camping under the Giant Poderosa pines. Ample caravan parking. Great camping spot. Being so high, weather is very changeable. Cool in Feb 21. Max 25 nights 12 or less. Fossicking, bush walking.

Lovely camp ground, long drop dunnys could do with a clean but better than some I've seen. Does get hot in summer with shade somewhat limited. All in all I'll go back for camping and hunting in the area. Also super close to nundle township.

Awesome place to camp. Right on a dam with pit toilet, (take ur own loo roll) its a perfect spot for families. Some good 4wd tracks. Pine forests all round and u can book for hunting. We dig for saphires with th kids when here. It snows in winter also. Hanging rock not too far away ether.

Awesome campground with loads of timber easily available for well placed fire pits, and lovely lakes. Toilet needs to be bulldozed.

Amazing spot. Toilets were pretty gross, but nothing a good clean wouldn't fix.

Great spot. Long drop toilet so prepare yourself mentally or practise your squats 😂 no phone service but that’s the best part!

Only place to take a poo within the state forest as far as I'm aware. Unless not using a toilet is your thing?
