What a beautiful spot to camp! Lots of lovely scenery, pine trees, wildlife, butterflies galore, and just so serene and peaceful! Shade if you want and sunny spots too. Fire pits for a nightly fire, so nice!! Great walks, toilets and space to spread out. Close to Williamstown if you want a pub or bakery or massage!!

Gorgeous campground. We stayed for just 1 night. We had site 26 which was located further towards the back end of the campground and provided plenty of space. It was very quiet with about 3 other campers. It was chilly at night especially not being able to have a fire but fire restrictions are set to lift 1st May. It was awesome to hear the wind whispering through the tall pines and we enjoyed a nice morning walk through the forest area. The toilets were well maintained and kept clean. I won’t add pictures as previous pictures provide a good description of the site.

We went to check out the campgroud as a possibility for our next camping trip and I was at peace as soon as we got there.❤
Gates are locked to vehicles, and bathrooms closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, however I was so grateful we can still visit and see how beautiful it is.
Can't wait to come back camping when restrictions are lifted. The kids are busy planning the huts they want to build there 🤣

Beautiful spot. Great for kids to run around, can have dogs on leads.
Gets quite muddy when wet in some camp spots.

Beautiful campsites, generously spread out, under pine trees. Can get very cold overnight and no camp fires allowed during April.

Campsite #1 - just a couple of things to note. The site is not flat. Not a big deal but worth noting. Secondly the sheep farm is right next to you. You will literally be counting sheep in your sleep 🤣

Toilets are what I call 'premium' long drop and are probably 150m from campsite #1

Beautiful camp and picnic ground, pine trees mushrooms in winter of a wide variety, camp fires in winter and the ground glitters in the sunlight from the quartz crystal and granite rocks

We absolutely loved it here, abit disappointed that we were one week before we could have a fire and will plan our stay better next time.
We'd love to come back again! 🥰

Camp site 2 is surrounded by big pines trees and is a nice barrier to the other campsites. Nice big area with a fire pit. The toilets (long drop) are only a short walk away.

Such a beautiful place to picnic and or camp. It's so pretty and quiet. Plenty of room for the children to run, walk and explore. Lovely afternoon spent with friends cooking lunch on a camp fire 🔥 Looking forward to going back and camping 🏕🥾 next time 🙂

10/10 camp ground. There are fire pits. There are pine trees. There's majestic scenic spots. There's lots of quartz. Also other rocks. Needs more creek, but this can be forgiven. Would camp again.

This place is perfect if you like a little forest escape. Full of tall pine trees and wee fire pits. We were the only ones there but it felt just right. Pets are welcome which is a big ✔✔.
Toilets with soap and water to wash.! Theo formation centre is 500m past the turn off on the bitumen where you can pay $5 per night for adults and $2 for kids. Worth paying for so more places like this exists! Take cash tho.

Perfect stop between Melbourne and Perth 👌🏻

Love this place! Nestled in the forest but not far out of town. Fantastic spot to become a first time camper. Drop toilets are available and all sites have huge fire pits that can be used during the right seasons.
