Wooyung Beach Holiday Park

We camped at an unpowered site for 5 nights. It's our second time at Wooyung and we love it. It's just across the road from the beach! The campground is quiet and peaceful, especially mid week. There is a brand new amenities block, which is clean and has tank water for drinking, a kettle and a powerpoint to charge your phone! There's 2 big sinks with hot water to wash up. That makes it so easy! This campground is simple and old style. Just the way we like it.

This is the most delightful place to stay. It has rustic charm, beautiful trees, spacious sites and friendly owners. Amenities are relatively new and very clean. I would highly recommend this place if you want to get back to old school camping. No concrete anywhere and have space between neighbours-unlike the Big 4 or similar. If you want to get away from it all and just be with nature, this is your “go to” place. I cannot wait to return! The world needs more getaway from it all places like Wooyung Caravan and camping/vanning.

Great campsite. Lovely owners, staff, and campers. Dog beach is on leash, but nobody else is there hardly, so some people let their dogs off for a run and swim occasionally. Showers are great and there is a washing machine. No staff bothered us at all during our stay, but they were helpful if we needed anything. Highly recommend.

We camped for a week. The park and facilities are exemplary. The owners and staff are friendly and professional, nothing is too much trouble. The facilities were spotlessly clean. The sites we had for my family were great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend the park to everyone.

Great short walk to the beach, park is well maintained & family friendly. Facilities are always clean, toilets, showers, clothes a washing and camp kitchen. You can buy firewood at the office. We prefer the unpowered camp sites, out of the way, and accompanied by the bush turkeys 🦃

Had a great weekend camping at Wooyung and already can’t wait to go back!

The booking process was easy and it wasn’t a hassle to update my booking to add extra people. Jacqueline was friendly and her communication was great, and they were very accommodating for our late check-in.

The site itself was lovely - very large and shady with plenty of room for our set-up. It was a short walk to the amenities block and not far from the beach access path. There were bins on site and rainwater for drinking which was very convenient. Only thing worth noting was that there were lots of bush turkeys roaming around trying to get into our food/belongings so had to be conscious of that, but otherwise no issues.

Overall great camp site and the park owners were a pleasure to deal with! Looking forward to visiting again.

Had a great stay for 10 days over Christmas/New Years. No control over the weather but managed some nice sunny days for the beach. Park was nice and tidy and the amenities look quite new and were great. It’s not a big4 type park which suits us fine, no water hook up but plenty of rain water on hand. A nice rustic park right across from an awesome beach, winner. Would definitely stay again.

Arriving from Pottsville, take the sharp right turn extra slow when arriving at Wooyung, as the reception is immediately after the 90 deg turn. It will save you backing up/turning around, which we had to do in the dark :-).

This was our family’s second visit to Wooyung and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The park has well established trees the sites are a wonderful size, not cramped in!! The new amenities are just great. And what a magic position near the beach. We’ll be back next year. We truly had a fantastic time.

Our family loved it here. We will come back. Such a beautiful place to wake up in the morning with the birds and waves. The facilities were clean and tidy and they were welcoming and helpful.

We had a wonderful time camping at Wooyung. Mark was there on arrival and showed us a great shady area to set up our tent and gazebo. Very pet friendly. Facilities are basic but clean and perfect hot water in the showers - a must after a long day exploring. Location couldn't be any better for visiting the beach, and what a beautiful beach it is! You almost have this heavenly place to yourself. Definitely not a hustle-bustle tourist beach. Make sure you lock your food up tight as the bush turkeys are a clever bunch at Wooyung! Will be staying again.

I love that the park is dog friendly.
The Bush Turkeys are a bit of a pain, but come with the territory.

A lovely, relaxing holiday park in a great location. Facilities were clean, good sized camping spots with firepits, and the staff were fantastic.
We will be back.

I was very pleasantly surprised with Wooyung Beach Holiday Park! Loved the site I camped on which was nice and spacious, as well as being close to the amenities block. Loved that you could have a fire. Loved that the beach was just a hop, skip and a jump away. Loved that there was shade, and loved that my dog could join me! Will definitely be back! Oh and Pottsville is just a short drive away if you need to replenish any supplies 👍🏼

We booked this camping site as it was perfect for what we wanted the weekend to be. Powered site, pet friendly, great amenities and close beach access.

The booking process was simple and easy the owners at check in were lovely. Access to additional firewood, ice and bait was just the icing on the cake ! We will all definitely be back!

Great beach bush camp. Beautiful beach across the road. Dog friendly. Lovely service. Easy booking & check in. Clean amenities. Great bush track across the road to walk dogs. Really busy but great friendly environment. Really appreciate someone handing in my iwatch & the owners getting it back to me. Would love to come back one day!

Very nice, wild space with trees and beautiful lizards and birds. Amazing long beach. Clean brand new toilets. Would recommend again.

We had our tent set up for a couple of nights in this beautiful location. It was stunning! We are making it a regular stay now 🏕
I have forgotten the ladies name on the front desk but she is SO lovely and helpful! Overall it was an amazing stay and we will be back.

Great spot with new shower and toilet block. Lots of local wildlife and lovely trees sites. Well maintained and quiet. Dog friendly with a dog off leash beach nearby. Pottsville is close with an IGA, coffee , bottle shop etc.

I've camped here a couple of times with my dog and it's such a lovely location, with the beach just across the road, and the town of Pottsville conveniently only a few klms away.
I like its natural bush setting, and it still has a feeling of an old fashioned caravan park and motel. The bathroom facilities have been upgraded since my first visit, and that was a necessary update!
I'll happily stay again in the future
