Great showgrounds for travellers (dog friendly), amenities basic but clean. Awesome friendly caretakers.

Grate place big watermelon don't taste to good must not be real overall its loud with traffic and lots of beer bottles lying around 5 star form me

Great spot, all level blocks for caravans and campers, power and water available, not always at same place 😀as long as it’s not too busy you will find a spot that has both

A lovely friendly place to stay and Dog friendly. Plenty of amenities . A bonus was the local markets on Sunday morning.

Excellent place to stay. Flat, grassy sites. Lots of trees for shade but would avoid the "widow makers". Clean and tidy facilities with one being a little dated but still in good condition. Manager are worth their weight in gold. Short walk to convenience store for milk, newspapers, and hot snacks. Town had Woolworths, IGA, post office, chemist, hardware and various others. Fishing at the Weir was fun but only caught Carp.
Give the place a go. You won't regret it.

The secretary was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with locating a loading ramp at short notice. Very much appreciated. Thankyou. Highly recommend the management team here. Easy to contact and very helpful

Best Showgrounds we have stayed at. Soo much room, good facilities. Caretaker exercises his horses most mornings and the short walk to town is worth it as it has everything you need.

Highly recommend it.

We stayed for 10 nights at the showgrounds. We were there prior to the Chinchilla Show and were lucky enough to stay there while the show was on. In previous years we had to move. The showgrounds has new managers and they are friendly. $25 for a powered site is great value. The RSL is a great spot with lovely food.

Spent 4 days recharging our weary bodies, totally enjoyed ourselves, nice flat sites, power and water, old toilets and showers but very clean, cheeky caretakers made it even better, thanks guys 10/10 from us

Great space for a typical showgrounds with plenty of toilet facilities. There was a camp draught happening and we found the locals beautifully warm and friendly, especially Kaka (Karen) who fed and watered us before inviting us to her gorgeous property. Was a very special place to visit!

The caretakers are wonderful caring people

Great camp $25.00 power & water, friendly cartakers, clean usable amenities & plenty of room. Vans can stay hitched & pick where you want to camp.
