We stayed just one night which was a lovely experience.

A most friendly welcome, where nothing was too much trouble.

Meals were delicious and excellent sized portions.

We definitely will return and we recommend this motel to all travellers.

Additionally, it is a very nice location
with nature at the back. Well done for this.

Due to the recent flooding our trip home was thrown into chaos. Roads closed, accomodations all booked out so we back tracked and called to see if there was a spare room. Lucky for us one family room was available. The service from staff has been nothing short of amazing, they are warm friendly and accommodating. The room is one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in. The food we ordered as an easy option and my goodness were we glad we did!! Steak was cooked to perfection and calamari was delicious, the salad was so fresh, our plates went back empty! It’s a beautiful area and so lovely and quiet. We are so happy our plans were interrupted and we got to have the pleasure of staying here!!

i was very pleasantly surprised, staff were very nice and friendly, room spacious and very clean, good sized bathroom, price very reasonable, food was awesome, ive had sirloin steak at one of the best steakhouse on the gold coast, i rate the meal i had here second to NONE! all round just awesome!

The Billabong Motel the staff are so friendly nothing was too much trouble the rooms were super clean on the conveniences perfect. We had the most beautiful Meal in the evening and breakfast was just as great. Would thoroughly recommend this as the place to stay in Mundubbera. Location is great.

My wife Gail and I stayed at this motel for two nights . The service was amazing and friendly. They help us in anyway they could . Food was excellent.! We order room service both nights . Rooms were very clean . We will definitely come back . I give the motel and the husband and wife team the cleaners and entire restaurant 5 star plus 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Great motel with excellent managers in Linda and Brad. Very helpful at check in and wonderful attitude. Unit was neat and tidy and clean. Beds were comfortable. We dined in at the bistro. Best garlic bread and the meal was delicious. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay here! The couple who run the motel are so courteous, helpful and friendly. They kept the restaurant open longer when we were late back from work and arranged for us to have breakfast earlier. The rooms were clean, tidy with powerful showers. The food in the restaurant was great, really generous portions and home cooked fare. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back for work in the future! 👍👍👍

Thank you to Teena and Mick for a fabulous stay. We were travelling with pets and the accommodating attitude was fabulous. The rooms are extremely clean and presentable. There was no hint of other animals having been accommodated in the past (or as we left it). It really was a winner. We arrived at night and woke to a beautiful view of the Billabong. My husband and I plus my mother stayed for one night only on the 22Dec18 wish we could have stayed 2nights. Bob was so accommodating from the moment I made the booking over the phone I also requested a late check out time which was given to us at no extra cost, fantastic services would highly recommend. Friendly people would definitely stay there again if we out that way. Must also check out the food it is amazing. Thanks again Bob and your wonderful team.

The restaurant has the best steak I've ever had! The room was lovely and clean and the bed super comfy. Easy access for parking a van.

Penny, you really imbue this place with a lot of order and love. Oddly reminds me of Howard Springs quarantine. Steak and a drink cost nearly $50. Steak too dry and chewy. Bit pricey, but at least I'm full.

Spent a night there last week. Very clean and tidy. Best steak I have had in a long time. Barry and the team were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Penny & the staff just lovely. Nothing too much trouble. Dinner @ the restaurant was amazing, local butcher has supplied best cuts to them. Thanks Penny, will be back again

Very friendly and professional staff from initial phone booking onwards. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Dinner was also great.

Stayed with Penny and Rob for 3 weeks with work, absolutely beautiful people. great food and felt like home. couldn't recommend them more! ill definitely be staying again!

Fantastic place to stay, room was clean and tidy, restaurant food was excellent and the owners were really great people, highly recommended.

Lovely & Friendly place to stay & eat. We stayed with a small group of people, Penny & staff were super friendly. We will be back for sure!
