Jacaranda Cottages

Loved the location and the house. Fantastic outdoor area and the view looking out from the deck and pool was gorgeous. Lots of areas for us to hang out together or to find some space alone to relax. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some lovely meals and the rooms were well appointed. House was very dog friendly also which was a bonus for us. While the other accommodation on the property had guests you wouldn't have known - so quite and private. We didn't feel the need to leave the property over the weekend, apart from some lovely strolls along the quiet roads with our pets. Stopped for a lovely shop in Maleny on our way home, a perfect end to a really relaxing weekend.

Just spent 5 amazing nights at Bunya cottage. Perfect for what we needed. Quiet, clean and well equipped. Beautiful scenery all around and if you get up early enough you will see a number of kangaroos out and about. Loved our stay and wished we didn’t have to leave.

Jacaranda Cottages was the perfect way to end the year! Having searching far and low for a place that a large group of people to enjoy each others company in a private space, Jacaranda Cottages proved to be the perfect answer. We booked out the whole property and what the weekend gave us was amazing to say the least.

For large groups the closeness of the cottages means that we were able to all gather and spend plenty of time together without being a hassle. While those needing the extra privacy could enjoy the small cabins such as Bunya and Whipbird. Cooking facilities were brilliant and well equipped to handle a feast while the pool provided a relaxing space to listen to the birds singing.

Everyone left with great memories facilitated by this special place.

Had a awesome girls weekend.. the place was amazing even with the huge amount of rain last weekend.

The hosts were very accommodating and allowed us to leave later as we were flooded back home and no way to get home till the afternoon.

Will go again with hopefully with full sun shine to make use of the beautiful infinity pool the main house has.

Absolutely loved our stay here in the Cathedral Cottage. Just wished we could have stayed longer. Cottage was very clean and had everything you need. Very peaceful and private. The kids loved roaming the grounds and spent heaps of time in the pool. Will definitely be back.

For a 2 night getaway for 2 couples we booked the Cathedral for Sun/Mon nights. Was very quiet and relaxing sitting under the outside covered area. Lots of showers around cooled our sitting around the fire thoughts. As others have said below, clean, well laid out with everything you would need, contact-less booking in and leaving was a breeze. Only critiques is main bedroom plenty of room while second queen room was a bit tight with travel bags. Other thought was for the 3 single beds in the sleep out during the night if anyone wanted the toilet they would have to go through one of the bedrooms as only has ensuites. Will visit again.

Lovely little hidden gem and great for the whole family. Stayed in The Lodge which was perfect for our family of 4 and had everything we need. Modern, clean, and private setup. I would highly recommend it to anyone with or without kids or even going as a group and booking one of the bigger homes or multiple cottages. We'll definitely go again!

We had a wonderful short family break in this idyllic peaceful setting! Our family group had the Cathedral Cottage and the Farmhouse Cottage which are side by side and have easy access to each other, which was ideal for us, enabling much precious family time all together. Cottages are comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Contactless check-in and out were easy. Enjoyed the birds, and wallabies by the watering hole. Just a short pretty drive in to Maleny for supplies when needed. Absolutely loved it!

Lovely beautiful relaxing break away from Brisbane. We stayed at the holiday house with our kids and dog. Wifi was down but was fixed within 48 hours. We couldn’t use the pool as the weather was awful ( can’t be helped) but I managed to go on many country walks. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a get away.

Our family group stayed at the Jacaranda Cottages on this past weekend and wish to express our delight at this beautiful spot. My partner and I stayed in the Whipbird Cottage which was utterly delightful, with a massive spa bath and a rustic wood heater - not necessary on the perfect days of our stay during which we made great use of the pool and surrounds. Every comfort was afforded, the bed was comfortable and the Cottage clean and welcoming. The highlight for me was waking through the night and hearing the sounds of the surrounding forest. Bliss for a city dweller. Thank you for providing such a perfect environment for our weekend.

We stayed 4 nights and decided to extend our stay to 6 nights.

We stayed in the chalet with 2 adults and 4 children which was a novelty for the kids to experience a two story house.

The chalet has everything you need, although a little love sprinkled into it wouldn't go a miss but I suspect the new owners will already have plans for this.

It's has aircon and fans downstairs and aircons upstairs. Nespresso coffee for those magic mornings to spend on the deck watching the wallabies come with their young to nibble on the lush bushland.

The outside firepit is perfect! The generous sized salt water heated swimming pool is 30 seconds walk from the property.

Other great moments were exploring the property with the kids with a steep walk down to the creek from the back gate of the chalet that loops back up to bunya house.
Very steep gradient so be careful!

Letting the kids climb the big tree in the backyard, somethings haven't changed have they and seeing 3, for a better word, daytime owls? These camoflagued beauties visited us for an afternoon.

Ps. The easiest way to get the Wi-Fi working is to manually push the button on the side of the router, hold it in until one of the green lights flash and you should get your wifi. We had trouble with the password way.

We stayed in The Lodge. Easy check-in experience, clean, well appointed, absolutely gorgeous setting in well maintained, leafy, green gardens. The fire pit is a great addition and we lit it both nights. It's close enough yet far enough from Maleny and the hustle and bustle of the Sunshine Coast and the price is just right. Only two very small things - the bed in the second bedroom needs some oil (it's super squeaky :) ) and the ceiling fans in the living area didn't seem to be working but that could just be pilot error. Otherwise - thoroughly recommend this one!

Had a wonderful stay. We booked three cottages for our family to celebrate all the May/June birthdays. All the cottages were excellent. I loved staying in The Chalet, being able to open the bedroom doors and enjoy listening to the birds while reading in bed.

Just had a wonderful family getaway at the Holiday House - everything was completely fabulous! Although set in a beautifully peaceful location it was just a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go. The kitchen is exceptionally well appointed and the entire house spotlessly clean - thank you Karen - we'll be back for sure!

We could tell right away the vibe and energy is exactly what we were after. Stayed in the holiday house, our son loved the pool and fire pit area. Even brought our dog, which was easily arranged, and she loved the space too!
I wanted to extend our stay but the place was already booked again. Our son said he wasn't leaving and wanted to live there forever, I wish!

My husband and I stayed in the Cathedral Cottage (much bigger than a cottage) for four evenings. The accommodation was clean, comfortable but maybe a little dated. The area was very peaceful (just 10 minutes from the township of Maleny) and Tom was friendly and helpful. All in all a very pleasant and relaxing stay. I loved the pond with the ducks swimming and diving.

Secluded accommodation in a beautiful area. We stayed in the whipbird cottage. It's set a little away from the rest of the cottages and is surrounded by trees with a nice view from the patio. This particular cottage is a small studio style single room, with a kitchenette, fireplace and spa bath. In winter months they even supply 2 nights worth of wood for the fire. It's got everything you need for a romantic weekend away. Highly recommended

Just had our second visit at Jacaranda Cottages 3 weeks ago, we love the Bunya Cottage.
Loved the early morning visits from the Cows in the neighbouring property and the beautiful Wallabies in the afternoon over looking the grass paddocks.
Beautiful place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life style and escape to a peaceful surrounding countryside.

I just wanted to thank you for sharing your fabulous accommodation at Jacaranda Cottages for my Fabulous Festival Of Jodie's 50th Jaunt At Maleny. It was the perfect spot for us all and the accommodation was very clean, comfortable and everything we needed was there and thought of for the 14 ladies. The grounds and gardens just beautiful and birds chirping made it such a special place for our meditation morning at The Chalet. Also having the option of both pools with staying in the Holiday House was great and shared pool being heated was perfect for the ones who don't like to get cold. We partied, ate, drank, laughed, played games, danced, refreshed, relaxed around the fire pit or sitting on the deck looking at the stunning views and all had a fabulous time there. Personally I didn't want to leave.

All ladies enjoyed their accommodation at The Chalet, The Cathedral, The Farmhouse and The Holiday House and found them to be very comfortable and spacious.

Magical, perfect and I will come back again to stay.

We have just returned from a very restful 3 night stay here. Our cabin was superbly equipped for every eventually with some lovely finishing touches. The view was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. I cannot recommend both the accommodation and area and the local people highly enough. Thank you.
