My mother in law has been raving on about this place for at least 30 years now. I bought the most premium cut of meat. The legendary Australian crumbed lamb cutlets for an astounding $4.50 each. This is an outrageous price for such a high quality piece of Australian culture/cut, Australian Lamb is far superior to Kolbe.
Now that I had established eye contact, the lamb rack/rib was selected from the cold store or aging room and cut on the spot (10) and meticulous tenderised with Solingen steel. The cutlets were then dipped in an egg wash and crumbed in front of me.
Extra points for handing out twiggy sticks to my son.
In conclusion I am going quote verbatim my mother in law "I am sorry I didn't spend more money".

Great local butchery with top quality meats at very fair prices. Staff are always super friendly and more than happy to assist me with any selection of meat i request for the occasional weekend BBQ. 10/10

Excellent service, pricing is great for the quality of meat they have! The shop is nice and cosy and great to see the customer base adhere to the covid policy's they have enacted

Great meat, great range - and things which aren't in stock can be ordered in. Friendly staff, and knowledgeable about meat. Happy to butterfly a chook, or dice a steak for you.
I never buy meat anywhere else.

These guys go above and beyond with quality and service will also do special orders and advise on cooking methods. A small butcher with a big heart. Cheers.
