No longer operating

We found " A Haven", spotlessly clean, the bed was soft and better than our own- very soft and welcoming! Arika was helpful and friendly. we spent 3 nights there and would certainly return and recommend it! Thank you for your time with us! Marietta and Ian

As indicated through my profile, I try very hard to give positive feedback, especially to small businesses. I am sorry to say that, in this case, I simply cannot.

This is an early days Air BnB and should be truthfully advertised as such. The advertisement I relied on states it is a "luxury room with three beds". It is, in fact, a small room with one beautiful queen bed and a day bed. It is located at the back of a badly maintained home, at the end of a cluttered verandah (also advertised as "huge").

Soon after arrival, a lovely little girl came in and gave us water and milk. Some may think this sounds sweet - it was not. The poor little thing was clearly uncomfortable and should not have been sent alone to engage with three strangers, regardless of their gender or age.

Me and my two companions did not stay the night as left quickly to find alternative accommodation. I attempted to talk to the manager, however, received a text stating she was "out of town".

Today, I received two aggressive texts from the owner blaming the advertiser for inaccurate statements made about the quality of the room.

Misrepresentation. One couple went home.
