Ngilgi Cave Ancient Lands Experience

Amazing and beautiful, don’t think twice, just go. My kids were like “we’ve been to caves before, boring” and then after going they were so appreciative, hasn’t experienced such amazing cave formations, the lighting show really brought out the uniqueness of this cave

Ngilgi cave is nice. There are two Chambers. One is fairly short and easy, while the other has lots of steps, some fairly steep and narrow path. It will definitely not be possible to push pram or carry little one throughout. It may not be suitable for elderly or very young kids. My 4+ yrs girl managed to navigate through the cave by walking herself with guidance and a lot of cautioning to hold the rails. But my 2 yrs old had to wait at the start of the harder side of the cave with her mum as it is not safe for her.

We spend about 45-60 mins in the cave.

What a beautiful surprise!! Absolutely spectacular cave! Walking down and up all those stairs was well worth it!! Our 2 teenagers absolutely loved it, too! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, the path to go to the cave had a $3M upgrade, it's beautiful! We highly recommend going when visiting this beautiful region.

Great tourist place for people who love nature and ancient places. it was a small tour for four days and we went for job but spare sometime to visit Ngilgi Cave.
It was a good experience. I have taken a lot of pictures about the history about the present about the staff about crystals above creatures inside that cave.
you can buy tickets on site it’s $32 for cave and outside nature I’m not pretty sure about outside nature. What was the exact name you can find out in my pictures.
If you just want to visit cave it’s I think half ticket. You can buy things from there like cops printed other things, different cartoons, a lot of stones and many more things. if you are a nature lover, it’s worth $32 to spend in here.

We have visited most of the other caves in the south west region, and this cave has the newest facilities. Everything other than the cave itself seems to be new. The bathrooms are new, well maintained and clean. Allow at least 1 hour to tour the cave itself. Be prepared to go up and down many stairs. You’ll get a decent workout for sure. Some spaces are fairly tight with narrow widths and low ceiling openings. Remember to bring a torch light so that you can see dimly lit areas of the cave.

This cave system is made up of just 2 million years old limestone which is the youngest in the world. And I felt happy to come across this site on my southern expedition. Learnt much more through the information boards placed accordingly across the site.

Enclosed shoes are not enforced and walk at you own risk as your step count will be over 300! I had a great experience seeing the cave and exploring at my own pace (not guided). Definitely worth a look as no words can describe how you feel as you adventure through the narrow boardwalk. The lobby area has toilets and plenty of parking including spaces for buses/caravans.

The caves are beautiful and very well but softly lit. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and checked in with patrons who were strugglingdue to the C02 levels.

Highly recommend a visit to the caves. It’s all beautiful and new and easy access with handy information boards along the way. We took our 21mth toddler with us and he also had a great time. The cave itself was stunning. You actually trek quite deep into it, the stairs just keep going and going! So many interesting and unique cave formations. Our toddler managed half of the stairs so definitely say it’s child friendly. There’s a nice play area at the end to let them romp while you rest too.

Fabulous underground cave. Takes approx 1h to visit with hundreds of steps going up and down. Was discovered in 1900, the first guide stayed for 37 years!

We had a fantastic time exploring & photographing the cave. Spent several hours in the cave. Great looking playground for kids. History lesson too as you walk around.

Beautiful well maintained cave. Easily accessible for most areas with stairs and handrails. Some low head room at points as to be expected. The guide mentioned 350 stairs down and back up the elders and children may struggle. But can take at your own pace with plenty of rest stops along the way if needed. The walk to the cave has had maintenance completed and is complete with fun interactive learning experiences and a play ground for kids.

Incredible cave experience, allowing you to go really deep down to observe some incredible formations. Very sympathetically done inside, a few low parts and uneven stairs but it all adds to the experience.

What an amazing place .Its mind boggling to see and learn how long it takes the stalagmites and stalactites to form . Travel through the system of caves is not for the faint hearted as access steps meander , are irregular and there are a lot of low formations on which you can strike your head.

Excellent Cave, tour guides are with you for ten minutes and then you are free to go at your own pace. There are a lot of stairs so it's best to take your time and rest regularly. There is a guide stationed in the main cave area if needed.

This has now changed to a self-serviced tour. You do not require a tour guide and that means you can take your time exploring the cave and the surrounding area.
This has been developed exceptionally well.
The tour guides are vailable and very informative and helpful.

Well worth the trip for an interesting cave experience although there are quite a lot of steps!!

First caves we visited in WA and by far my favourite. So colorful and loved the different levels. Favourite for me are the shawl stalactites, so beautifully and colorful.

It was absolutely mesmerising. Takes you straight to the ancient times and as the formation process was explained to us in detail by the staff, it made our day worth it.
