Thank you to the young man who helped us out with a problem today. Much appreciated as we are travelling from Western Australia and leaving Adelaide tomorrow.

I did work experience here for a week and iv got to say they are the most truth worthy, hardworking, kind and respectful people. They look after the cars really well and are very careful and precise. They even go out of their way to make sure you car is clean when they are finished with the job. No other place I did work experience in did that. It was definitely one of the best weeks ever working there and getting to see how they do things. Definitely the most reliable place I have done work experience in and will forever be grateful to work in such an amazing environment. Definitely worth the money in such safe hands.

Ernie and his team are wonderful. They are kind, caring, and always take the time to explain the work that was done, and the work that will need to be done in the future. I now live remote and bring my car in every time I am in town to get serviced with them. Cannot recommend enough.

Have been going to Matlin’s for over 20 years and their service and work has always been 1st class.

I urgently needed my car repaired.I rang first thing in the morning and Maitland Mechanical Repairs were able to fit me in straight away. I had everything fixed that day and was able to have my car back that night.

Been using Ernie & the team at Matlin Auto for 5 years now to service our work van. Ernie is a stand-up guy, honest, trustworthy professional. Never had a bad experience, work has always been to a high standard at a reasonable price, Ernie explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and I'm always made aware of the condition of our van, things that might need maintenance in the future etc to enable planning for future expenses. All around very happy with the service we've received over the last 5 years :-)

Having been to a different mechanic to fix faulty indicator wiring and being told to go to U Pull It to get a replacement part that they could install, I decided to go see Ernie at Matlin Auto for a second opinion. I had been to Matlin Auto previously for services and knew them to be trustworthy and professional. Within an hour they had found a solution and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Matlin Auto for all your car needs.

Had an emergency with my car's alternator. Matlin Auto were up front and honest from the start; called within the morning to give diagnosis, with 2 price point options.
Had car back and fixed to the agreed price by the afternoon.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Matlin’s ever since moving to Adelaide. They’ve taken quality care of my ancient 1985 hiace campervan. They’ve kindly given me rides home and are always prompt in servicing. But the thing that really keeps me coming back is Alison at the front desk. She’s lovely, professional and informative. A lot of businesses provide a great service but the experience is cheapened by a rude receptionist. That’s the difference for me, at Matlin I get honest quality work done on my car, and the person I talk to and am greeted by is kind and professional. Thanks to all at Matlin for continually great service

I've been taking my vehicles to Ernie & the team at Matlin for more than 15 years. Ernie gives me all the options on repairs. He also has referred me to other reliable businesses such as crash repairers, exhaust shops and tyre fitters.

Run like a family business. Honest. Charges for service/repairs seem to be fair. They will call if urgent repairs are needed before they proceed. They will also tell you if the repairs/replacement can be left until the next service.

At long last, I've found an honest mechanic !!...Took in my knacked old Ford Falcon and its running like a dream and paid far less than Midas quoted me for the same things that required doing.
As of this point, all the family cars will be coming to this place.
