Billy Hyde Music - Adelaide

I will be honest in that I usually go to a different store and have bought a number of instruments from them but, my guys were not open boxing day and I wandered in to Billy Hyde's just because I was bored. The staff were very happy and helpful as well as way more friendly than I expected for guys working Boxing Day!! So, I bought a guitar... Well done guys, You are awesome!!

The advice, recommendations, engagement and friendly service provided by Billy Hyde (and in particular Paul) made upgrading our organisation's band equipment a very easy and hassle-free experience. Highly recommended by this musical director.

I will be first to admit, I definitely haven't been to all the music stores in Adelaide.. but I've been to enough to know that Billy Hyde is 5 star quality!
Amazing show room with a whole second floor for percussion, and amazing selection of instruments and equipment, plenty of sound rooms to test everything in peace, and an amazing staff that are super helpful and know there stuff, but are happy to step back and let you explore the amazing selection by yourself
Definitely check this store out if your in the music scene or thinking about exploring it!

WOW! Excellent music store in a great location. Easy parking on site. Such a massive range of musical gear. We went here just to check it out this time but soon we’ll be going back to buy! This is definitely Adelaide’s BIGGEST & BEST music store. The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were better than other music stores in Adelaide.

Last week i finally able to pop in n check it out . The guys where really nice , as I wanted to check out the Evh frankie ( in the flesh ) , plus others etc . I tried it out , but not plugged in , just wanted to get the feel etc. Its the second time I've been and the staff are always friendly and no pressure sale pitch and let me take some pics to show the wife ( ha ) etc. I'll be back for sure , ( Might have check out the lay-by plans ) as I said to the boys , they have too many to chose from . 👍😃❤

I went in to pick up an amp and a few other things and the staff were incredible. Corey was awesome! Nothing was too much trouble and he gave me a sweet deal on everything. Couldn’t be happier. 100% recommend

Got my first guitar and also a year later my first keyboard courtesy Billy Hyde. They even gave me a couple of extra picks upon request. price matched the keyboard to what it was elsewhere. Helpful and friendly staff. Quick delivery. Would recommend.

Billy Hyde are such pros when it comes to pretty much everything musical and technical. I keep going back as a customer because they are incredible knowledgeable, helpful and always go the extra mile to assist us with information, ordering parts and offering us the best quality product for the best price. Specifically, Paul is a stand-out guy and brilliant service provider. He always has a big beaming smile and is unbelievably accommodating and helpful. Nothing is too much for him. We are consistent customers because his service is next level!

Each time we visit Billy Hyde's we have a wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They don't make you feel dumb when you ask questions, they seem genuinely excited to help you pick out your instruments or assist with any other needs.

Highly recommend. The store is well stocked with a huge variety. Truly great customer service. We won't go anywhere else for our musical needs.

Didn't catch his name but the guy who helped us in deciding what PA subwoofer to purchase was pleasant and happy to demonstrate the different subs we were looking at. Really helpful and not pushy like some others.

Went to Billy Hyde to purchase a beginner’s guitar for my daughter. Julius was super friendly and helpful - great with the kids, handing out stickers and plectrums. Didn’t try and upsell us and recommended an entry level guitar and a coupe of others to try. We also bought a stand and Julius gave us a very decent discount! Fantastic customer service and a huge range of instruments to cater for musicians at all levels. Highly recommend 🤘🏻

As a professional musician (with the store person experience in a big music store overseas) I can appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into providing such a high level of service. Every time I come here, I am met with an outstanding level of customer assistance that never fails to leave me feeling satisfied and taken care of.
