Wallam Creek, free camp

What a great camp ground for a donation. Leave your cans to support the local police. Right by the creek for fishing and swimming. Plenty of room, toilets, walking path to the main Street, which is lit up at night. Plenty of big gum trees for shade, it just feels right.
Resident poultry around for feeding.

Free camping suits all, toilet on site, firewood at $15 a bag kept in caged area. Plenty bird life. Right along side river. Pub a sjort walk from camp grounds.

What a great little spot, almost have the place to ourselves. Except for 1 other rude traveller 😋. Meal at the pub was ok, back to backpackers running it again. Not as good bow but still great atmosphere. Flushing toilets and hot shower, well worth the stop. Do not forget to leave a donation, i even do when just stopping for a toilet stop. Love this place...

When dry, it gets pretty dusty with the wind, so look for an area with grass.

Toilet at Campsite. Showers and toilets about 500m away. Internet. Firewood. Ducks. Grassy area's. Water taps. Pub and pub meals walking distance.

Plenty of room here. Close to Wallam Creek. There is a toilet and a lighted walkway if low light walks are your thing. Donation for your stay.

What a really great find! Was travelling from Charleville heading south to nowhere in particular when we drove into town and found this little oasis. Lots of vans as you drive in but we were swagging it so drove a little further up the river and found a more secluded spot. The river is beautiful and so peaceful, all you could hear were the ducks splashing about. There is a well maintained toilet and free hot showers in town opposite the pub. Pub serves hot meals, cold drinks and a game of bingo so be sure to spend a bit of money and make a donation in the box by the toilet. We were more than happy to for this little gem. Oh and make sure you take a walk around the cemetary, especially at night and see the eery green glow coming from one of the sites.

Great place to camp rough. if u camp closer to town, shower, and toilets if u follow the path towards the pub. Great meals, reasonable priced. Great hospitality at the local.

Second time this year we have camped here. Absolutely love it here. Toilet, water and dump point. Camp by the river, walking distance to Cafe and convenience store. Just remember to leave a donation.
Also Bollon does not have unleaded fuel and diesel is via IOR so you need the fuelcharge app.

Poor reception so we had to move on.
Otherwise a nice peaceful place to free camp

Loved this area. Suitable for large rigs. Plenty of space to park. We were there when it was dry, but it would be slippery when wet. There are toilets near the cemetery. Dog friendly area

Such a great spot by the creek. With a well lit path to the new amenities block in town. Take the guided Indigenous discovery walk, won't be won't be disappointed.

One of the best free camps in NSW that survive on donations. The place is clean and tidy with a flushing toilet that is shared with the cemetery adjacent. This has become one of our favourite sites to stop in as the village is very friendly and accommodating to tourists. Foods great and the whole town is clean and tidy.

Very nice quiet spot, a lot of bird life. The ducks are very friendly.

Beautiful little camping spot, plenty of room, quiet, and nice creek, and an abundance of places to setup a fire. Very close to walk to local shop and cafe, and the free showers and toilets and park. As it is so close to town, we did have some problems with the noise of several dogs barking for a few hours in the night untill about 5am which could’ve only been avoided by being in a full caravan setup, which we most certainly weren’t! But at the end of the day it was still a really nice spot and will come back again.

What an awesome little spot and town. The facilities are great, walking distance to the local hotel where a great feed can be had. The resident ducks and rooster add to the ambience 😆. Would totally recommend a night or two here.

Great spot on Wallam Creek. Geese, Roosters and beautiful ducks. Birds and the sounds of frogs. Pub meals are great. We put $10 in the donation bin at the end of the park.
