Do yourself a favour and visit Farmer Ken at Benson Park Farm Stay. I cannot recommend this place enough and the experience Farmer Ken provides for the kids and family is above and beyond. He is now 80 and still giving so much to the people who stay on the farm. Amazing.

Brilliant farm experience!!! The kids were hardly seen all weekend because Ken was like the Pied Piper showing them all the animals & how to care for them! Everyone enjoyed the goats' performances, & the tractor ride to the sunset bar!
We'll definitely be coming back!

I highly recommend Benson Park farmstay!! It’s about 10 mins out of Waikerie, and Ken, the farmer that runs it, is such a great character. He is an excellent host, full of stories and knowledge to share, great with the kids, and took us out to feed the animals every morning and night. The campsite is in his field, there’s power and very clean showers/toilets although I suggest you byo drinking water. He also provided a fire pit and wood for a small charge, and the fee to stay was super low, less than half the price of a caravan park, which is amazing considering that includes all the farm activities. A visit to the sunset bar on the property is an absolute must do as well. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Young or old you will love it.
Ken the host has lived here all his life and is fountain of information and fun.
We are not young but he made us feel like we were teenagers again.

Ken is an absolutely true blue Aussie, what a wonderful place to come to and relax, Ken goes out of his road for everyone, so kind funny and absolute true Gem, there is is much to do here the kids had a ball, toilets and bathrooms so clean, I will definitely be back. What a wonderful place to be .

Green ground ,power/unpower site, clean bathroom and toilet and plenty of activity for the kids! Will definitely be back soon.

I've been to a lot of campgrounds and farm stays, but this one takes the cake. The place is pretty much perfect, clean, agreeable and Ken is a one of a kind gentleman. We had activities all day long, from feeding all the animals in the morning and in the afternoon, to a magical sunset overlooking the Murray river. Ken, thank you.

Farmer Ken is the best host, keeping the kids entertained all day with pony rides, goat performances and farm jobs.

Our family had a wonderful experience at Benson Park Farmstay (multiple nights stay, powered site). Lovely host Ken is knowledgeable and provides ample opportunity to be involved in life at Benson Park, including lots of animal interaction. This is a well maintained property overall, highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful place for the family. Great value for Money. Ken was wonderful and was a truly amazing host - rounding the kids up each day to feed the animals and do activities. The kids (15, 13, 11, and 2 x 10 yr olds) LOVED it! Ken took us for a wagon ride to the lookout for a sunset happy hour (BYO nibbles and drinks). And the fire place kept us warm each night. There was power available to hook up to our caravans and also clean and new shower/toilet facilities. Wonderful weekend - can't wait til our next trip.

Unfortunately the 'peace and quiet' spoilt by a group x 3 that thought we would enjoy their Rap music most of the afternoon and evening. My request to turn the volume down, so we could enjoy 'peace and quiet' was met with, 'well you have come to the wrong place'. Obviously ignorant and not worth wasting my breath to argue with. Unfortunately Ken had gone home by this point, so could not bring to his attention, but shall do in the morning. A shame really as the spot is otherwise worth stopping in. Comment below appropriate.

We absolutely loved it here. Only stayed one night but will be back again.
Enjoyed feeding the horses, pony rides, moving stock around and feeding the Guinea pigs. Ken is a lovely man and made us feel very welcome. Bathrooms were very clean as well. See you again Ken :)

We had nice camp stay here during the Easter holiday, 5 families stayed together making yummy food. The facilities here are quite good for kids to play, also all the kids love the pony riding .

This was our very first Farmstay.
It was wonderful!! Ken is a sweet and very knowledgeable host. We opted for a powered site. Beautiful big, grassy, flat area for camping in vans, tents or campers. There are hot showers and toilets which are very clean.
Opportunities daily to feed the animals; horses, sheep, alpacas, guinea pigs and baby lambs.
The “Sunset Bar” is a must do!!
It’s a HUGE property with many tracks to explore.
Waikerie is a short drive into town for supplies.
If you have kids, THIS is your Farmstay!!

Wow, what an experience & fantastic place to stay. Ken was an absolutely wonderful host. He was very helpful from the moment we pulled in. He grabbed the kids straight away & took them off to do some “farm work” feeding horses, sheep, lambs, alpaca, ponies, Guinea pigs, rabbits & goats. Lovely toilets & showers. We will definitely be back. Thank you again Ken!

Ken is an amazing farm owner, we had a great time. The kids learnt a lot of the farm lifestyle. Thank you so much for your education lessons Ken. :)
