Pleasantly surprised at this oasis watering hole.
Filled with history on the walls and rooms, i was welcomed to roam and experience.
The Overland Ale on tap and a generous serving plate for lunch, i walked away with a fulfilling experience.
The grounds were immaculate, the service friendly and food and beverages satisfying.
Definitely will recommend this venue and hope to be back soon.

This is a must, the atmosphere is so chilled and relaxing. The staff are fantastic and so welcoming, even the handsome 4 legged one 😊. Alot of history in this pub, beautiful garden area, and the food, all I will say is if you order a chicken schnitty, you will be asking for a container.. It's huge and delicious. All in all this pub, has alot to offer those who are wanting a great atmosphere, or to chill with a book and a cuppa. Highly recomend

It has to be the best pub on planet earth. Bought a didgeridoo, had a few drinks, and the live music was sensational. Make the effort to divert off the main track.

What a quirky little place. This pub is literally in the middle of nowhere, so having a camping area out back for patrons is great. Check the hours of the pub before you come here, as there are days they don't do lunch or close at 5.00pm. It has a very tiny bar, but very versatile. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions that you asked them. We had the beef Schnitzel , which literally didn't fix on the plate, so we got a doggy bay to take home as we couldn't eat it all. They sold some yummy jams and spreads ( which I brought). There is an area outside where there is entertainment on the weekends. The outside fire would be lovely on a cold night, drinking a coldie and looking at the stars. They had Coopers Pale ale as well as The Woolshed apple ciders from the local brewery in the Riverland. There are many photos and pictures on the walls containing the history about the pub, take time to read them as it is very interesting.

A hidden gem just off the highway, great food with fantastic service. Indoor and outdoor dining, take away if you like, a courtesy bus if you camp down by the river or just set up camp in the enormous carpark.

Overland Corner Hotel - What a great country pub full of history, friendliness, great meals, amazing insights into the area and good old fashioned hospitality. Made to feel like a friend and not a customer. We stayed here for dinner and camp one night and returned a second night after touring around recommended sites in the region. Huge shout out to Samuel for his friendliness and "visitor information".
The meals are great, beer is cold and prices are very reasonable. Do yourself a favor a drop by.

Interesting and attractive pub, welcoming friendly, good value for money. I had a coeliac friendly caeser salad, it was possibly the tastiest salad I've ever had - ate it all! So good in fact that we're going back with friends tomorrow. Thank you!

Wow, what a place! Our group had pre booked but arrived concurrently with the 'River Run' charity group, which was a much larger group than ours. The staff, the food, the service, and the setting were fantastic! They clearly know hospitality! Well done! 👏

What a great place to visit. The history and the atmosphere were amazing. The building itself steeped in history and haunted to boot just make for a great experience. The food is spectacular made to taste even better by being totally bought from local suppliers right down t the pepper and salt. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent adventure.

I have driven past multiple times per year over the past 60 years. We have lived 30 minutes away for the last 3 years. This was our first visit.
We had a very enjoyable experience.
We will certainly come again.

My first time there and we only went for a drink and chips. I found the venue peaceful and serene. The house beer was quite nice and the atmosphere was indulging. Not far from the river. I'll be back for a proper meal sometime soon. Pet friendly so the pup will come next time. Lots of parking for the camper, and I believe it's free camping there as well. It's definitely worth a look in if you're in the area.

We enjoyed the Overland Corner Hotel just before the last flood and vowed to return when next in the area. We again had great pub food and a good selection of drinks. Indoor and outside dinning. Good value for money and character charm. Owner a legend to talk to and find out more of the area and yarn to. This pub is also a history museum of the area. All up highly recommended.

Busy, energetic, fun crowds and it has a good vibe to relax in. Caters for everybody and hosts live bands in a big way. It's a return visit for sure 👍🍺

The Show-Off pizza was amazing. The photo is of the remnants because I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo. Spectacular service and a total gem of a place. The owners are gorgeous people. So happy we came.

A Magpie asked politely for some good. He sang for us so we shared our meal with him.
Great place to visit. Plenty of space in the campground beside the pub. Wonderful couple running the place. Bought a book on outback pubs and bought three knives made from old railway spikes.

Loved this pub filled with so much history. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere with lots of outdoor beer garden tables - great vibe and an awesome spot for an afternoon gathering with friends. The food servings were huge and so delicious and tasty - such great value. Brad the owner was lovely and also gave us a list of other places to visit in the area. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a great place to visit! Such a lovely atmosphere. The food is great too! All locally sourced. The chicken schnitzel with gravy was HUGE and delicious. The kids loved their fish and chips, also decent servings. My hubby had the chicken burger, which he also really enjoyed! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the riverland.
