I have been lucky enough to wear Gwendolynnes dresses on more then one occasion. I chose her to make my wedding dress because the dress felt truly special and magnificent, the experience in her charming and beautiful atelier was so wonderful and a special part of the lead up to the wedding that I loved.

I had tried on a few different wedding dresses at different places but I really loved the personal experience of speaking with and working with Gwendolynne herself, the entire process is very personal. The detail, love and care she puts into the dresses is something I really admire and the time she takes to ensure all the finer design details with you is a very seamless and stress free process. The beading in the dress is amazing, this detail is what I loved the most about my dress and what made it feel so special and really set it apart from other dresses I had tried on.

I have continued to stay in touch with Gwendolynne and have been lucky enough to wear her amazing designs on multiple other red carpet occasions at the Brownlow. The dresses are truly beautiful and I have felt so comfortable and confident in her pieces. A very talented and lovely human to work with and be apart of your wedding planning experience, I couldn’t recommend her enough.

Gwendolynne designed and created the most exquisite gown for my recent wedding. It was everything I hoped for - dreamy, beautiful, vintage loveliness. Where to start. This sparkly human is a master artisan. The dress she made for me is exquisite, unique, and was so comfortable to boot! The lines, the cut, the lace, the beading… honestly like nothing I’ve seen before or since. And I looked at a lot of dresses before making my decision!

Gwendolynne herself is delightful. Her atelier is a little slice of heaven in amongst the hustle and bustle of Fitzroy. Every time I went for a fitting I felt like I was entering a magical place out of another world. I felt so at ease, listened to and never rushed.

Always so friendly, accommodating and kind, Gwendolynne made the process of obtaining my wedding dress a dream rather than a chore. Her attention to detail is almost scary - I’ve never before seen this level of focus and care by a person creating something. Each part of the dress was created specially for my body, to flatter, fit, and make me feel so beautiful.

She really went above and beyond, making me a beautiful veil in the 11th hour per my last minute request. She even spent a loooong time at my final pickup training my mum to get me into the dress (mum was so nervous about getting it right).

I cannot recommend Gwendolynne enough. If you love beauty, balance, and stunning details then these are the dresses for you. If you want something to treasure forever, that is locally made with love, go visit her.

Thanks Gwendolynne for making me the perfect dress for the perfect day. I hope to find a good enough excuse to wear it again sometime soon (perhaps with some alterations!).

Gwendolynne is nothing short of incredible. She's so talented at her craft and creates the most amazing dresses. From the minute I first walked into her beautiful studio, I felt welcomed and knew I would be walking down the aisle in one of her creations. I tried on a few dresses at other stores, but they were all similar, lovely, but nothing super special. Gwendolynne's gowns are lovingly designed and made in Melbourne and have a special magic about them. If you're looking for something magical, make an appointment and experience it for yourself.

Gwendolynne is an absolute gem. I am so glad I chose to have my dress made by her. It was truly the most lovely experience. Gwendolynne made me feel so comfortable, and the end result was truly exquisite. The amount of time, detail and care that goes into each piece is truly outstanding. She is so talented. She is a beautiful soul and so kind and patient. I can be quite indecisive, but Gwendolynne gave me all the time I needed. I never felt rushed and always left feeling calm and so happy with my dress.

On top of making my dress, she also made myself and my bridesmaids earrings-quite last minute too. Once again, so talented. The earrings were beautiful, they complimented the dress perfectly. She also gave them to us in the most beautiful, antique looking box. Everyone was in love.

Gwendolynne created the most beautiful outfits for myself and my wife Amanda, adapting the Stasia into a top for myself and making the Marissa gown for Amanda. Gwendolynne went beyond my expectations giving us thoughtful and practical advice on getting matching trousers made for myself, our jewelry, shoes and showed genuine care in her attention to every detail, along with just being a truly wonderful person. When Amanda and I we stepped out together to the altar our friends and family took a collective gasp. Thank you Gwendolynne.

She is one of Australia's best dressmaker and designer . The service by her and her team is hardworking, fast and they go beyond with the best service. The garments she makes are the best quality, the hand beading is divine and so well made. What i really love is her pieces are inspired by world architecture of art and art nouveau designs. i love reading her blogs and watching her travels where the dress designs come from . Her designing skills well all i can say she is talented and she is one of the best . hand craft detail to perfection. when i did my dress fitting trial booking with Gwendolynnes studio the staff were lovely , kind and so inviting, every dress i tried was stunning on, so hard to choose because i loved them all. I travelled from Sydney to Melbourne for my dress fittings, Gwendolynne fitted me in and spent so much time to get everything right with the dress it was so worth the travel and to work with her to make my dream dress. I will cherish our time together and i will keep this dress forever as it one of my favourite dresses i own. On my wedding day i felt like i stepped back in time and was an hollywood actress from the 1930s so many compliments about the dress on the day too. i highly recommend her to anyone .
