This restaurant has become a new favourite of my husband and I. Great local place to come to for dinner if you’re in the mood for something’s that’s a bit more formal. Highly recommend their banquet options that range in prices and selection of items - great opportunity to try the very best of the menu.

I have to say it not bad for me to eat here as a family. the service was not bad but can be extremely busy and noisy with the people coming to eat so getting a waiter/ waitress attention can be difficult but if can is good . beside that the food was tasty for me and the price can be okay. just remembered that on the weekend is a surcharge of 10% that's the only problem with it beside best to book ahead as dinner time can be a lot of people who had ore book a spot already.

Best yumcha in the West. Very busy on the weekend. Lovely, helpful staffs. Bit pricey for me, 120$ ish for a couple, and not full.
Overall, highly recommend.

The food came out so QUICK!!! I really love the stir fried snake beans and pecking duck. The salted egg chicken ribs were so juicy💯 we ordered the stir fried pipi with xo sauce.

We had yum cha and the food was fantastic. It’s a very large noisy restaurant but the food was worth it. Fantastic yum cha. We went to celebrate my mother in laws birthday 🥰

Reminds me of the traditional Chinese restaurant in Chinese countries. Good vibe and helpful staff. Dim sum tastes good. Can't stop eating. Hope the Chinese tea part can improve in the future. A bit of pricey than expected. Car park is a bit tense. Better go for the public at the corner.

Nice yum cha, if you like sushi train this is definitely for you. Bit pricy though, $15 for just vegetables

Gold Leaf Sunshine restaurant was huge and most impressive. Yum cha was amazingly delicious 😋. So many yummy dishes were offered. Service and staff were friendly and attentive 👍. The place was packed for the 11am seating. Great restaurant to entertain family and friends. 👍🙂🌞

This restaurant is one of the best places I have been to based on service. All the staff are polite, know when to come and take your order without being pushy and clear the tables promptly.
The food is great, I really couldn't fault it.

This is 💯% the best yumcha in Melbourne and I congratulate GL Sunshine on their success over the years!!! Their evening a la carte and takeaway menu is also delightful.

Pros
- Food is always served piping hot
- Dumplings don't stick to the paper
- Drinks come out quick
- Extensive food range

Cons
- Parking lot is a bit hectic when you're fighting Asian aunties for a spot, but plenty of street parking if you're too slow
- When the staff clear out the tables next to you, it sounds like an earthquake when they chuck things in the tub
- No online bookings like other Gold Leafs

Pros outweigh the cons here. It's always worth the drive 👌🏼👌🏼

Our family comes here at least once every 2 weeks or even more frequent. Good pricing for great quality of food. Service is quick, beautiful decor and amazing dim sum.

Always full, so it’s worth making a booking for weekend lunch as we have been caught out a few times where it’s a long wait.

Always a reliable choice for yum Cha or dinner - quality is great and you get what you pay for. It gets busy, proof it’s good. Be patient, have a chat, the food will come and when it does it’s worth it. Noodle crab yum, Peking duck yum, mango pudding, yum Cha selection all great

The food here is fresh and tasty however it is not the best I have had, but it is alot best then alot of other places so overall if you cannot be bothered traveling far then this would be a good option if your in the area.

This is arguably one of the best dim sum restaurants around Melbourne. They serve a big variety of dim sum dishes here. Today, while my family and I dined here during lunchtime, there was a lion dance performance because today was the 8th day of the Lunar New Year in the Year of the Wood Dragon. The restaurant was fully booked for both seatings today.

Although crowded, that can be a good sign too. Everything we ordered off the cart was super delicious and tasted very hot and fresh. Carts were consistently moving around the floor, despite being a full house. Kinda want to go back.

Wow. If you like Seafood like I do this place is a must, from Crayfish, abalone, crab and much more this restaurant has it.
Great service, good for gatherings, birthdays etc. I ordered 5 seafood dishes, ate like a king and loved every dish.
