Amazing. Beautiful cocktails in a superb setting. The staff are incredible and are super helpful in choosing the right drink. Love how they actually take their time with you.
If you want an excellent drink, in a quiet moody setting, go here. Theres heaps of seats and little nooks to cosy up in.
I will be back.

Love this awesome cocktail bar. Happy hour every day 5-6 $12 cocktails is amazing value for the quality! We had the Alice in wonderland and the espresso no. 5 which were both delicious. Great staff and a classy vibe. Will return

Friendly knowledgeable staff, that are willing to help make order suggestions. We had a book with a glass on top delivered to our table. It took 20 mins before we found out where the alcohol was hiding. A truly fun experience!

Needs to open again for sure. I travel for this joint. It's too good to stay closed.

Coming to this bar to celebrate my 30th, was the best idea. The owner was delightful, the staff were friendly and approachable the service was next to none. If i could rate it higher i would.

Amazing bar hidden on busy Chapel Street. Awesome range of whiskies, they even do flights where the staff go through the selection. Great cocktails with exceptionally friendly and personable service and fantastic food to go with it all. Wish I could have spent more time here, could have happily stayed all night.

I Went to the woods cocktail bar last Saturday Night and could not fault the place .The place had such a cool decor with an awesome feel good atmosphere mixed with delicious cocktails its the perfect place to have a few drinks with friends or a fun date night. The fairy tale twist on much loved cocktails add a whole new experience when picking what to drink. I would 100% recommend this gem to anyone heading up to chapel street . The red ridding hood was the perfect blend of sweet and sour , and presented so beautifully.

Came here for a cocktail a few weeks back and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and vibe inside the bar, and excellent drinks and service from the team as well. Would definitely be back.

Third time back since the new owners took over late last year. The standard of food and service continues to impress. Cocktails are amongst the best I've had, favourite at the moment is their Espresso Martini (made with spiced rum). Fav new local, great atmosphere, great music, great place to feel welcome and warm esp as the nights are getting cooler. I'll be back v. soon!

A great place to have cocktails or an aperitif. We went on a weekend evening before dinner and were seated on the bar stools, which was fine. Great mojito, good wine selection, and reasonably priced drinks. They have energetic and friendly bartenders, which is always a treat. Like the vibe in this place.

Exceptional cocktail bar based on both the drinks and quality of service. The big bad wolf (aka big bad bison) is a stellar choice for ending your evening. In addition to having a great menu, the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Ben took care of us by setting us up with a number of great cocktails, including a mutual favorite: The Last Word with Mezcal.

A serious standout amongst the hustle and bustle of chapel street. If you want a real cocktail, this is where you should go.

Great atmosphere and cocktail menu! Definitely try the Praise The Sun cocktail (thanks to Kane, an awesome bartender) if you feel like something more adventurous, absolutely delicious.

I'm by no means an avid whisky drinker but after going to this place I'm starting to see the obsession. All the workers here are super knowledgeable and it feels as though you are stepping into a different decade.

Even if you're not into brown liquor this place is all over cocktails. They don't skimp on ingredients and the cocktails really wow you.

A classy establishment. The decor has a natural charm, all wood and leather, with appropriately soft lighting. Both venue and menu carry a consistent theme of refined quirkiness. Serves some of Melbourne's finest original cocktails, characterised by simple elegance. Consider the Big Bad Wolf, and if the description appeals, you will enjoy.

Nice place and good staff. Came for a happy hour glass of wine, so can’t rate their cocktails yet as I haven’t tried any. It has a cosy speakeasy feel.

Excellent bar with a wide selection of spirits and good cocktail list. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and half price all whisky on Wednesday if definitely a winner with Windsor station a 5 min walk away.
