Madame Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant

Unfortunately I was too hungry and forgot to take good photos. We had a late Monday lunch and it was good to find a place open for a quick meal. Tried the pho and the steamed rice with chicken. Both delicious. The pho is massive so it’s easy to share.

Best Banh Mi in Melb for both vegans and non vegans. The vegan special is amazing, must try. They even have vegan Mayo and pate!

Everything I’ve tried here has been full of flavour and always very fresh.

the lunch set were pretty good deal, i have the dry noodle which is so good, the crispy wonton is a plus.

Best lemongrass beef on rice I've eaten. $13 for a huge meal with crisp, cold cucumber and salad, piping hot beef and crispy shallots with the requisite nuoc mam dipping sauce on the side, and bottomless jasmine tea. Fresh and a blast of flavours that will bring me back. Highly recommended.

Great price, solid size, the baguette is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Combination of picked carrot and pate and chilli and the crispy pork brings it all together. This sandwich is not drowned and taste overpowered by sauces, and the taste of the pork is one of my favourite thus far

$37 for two people including a big bowl of noodles and some spring rolls with lemongrass chicken and another bowl with something similar but with rice. We chose the lychee chilled drink which although sweet was delicious.
This place isn’t fancy but you certainly can be assured of a great meal with good portion sizes.
The staff were sweet as pies and helpful in deciphering the menu choices.
We sat Street side on this warm balmy spring night. Wasn’t too noisy.
Come on in and enjoy the laminex tables and bucket full of cutlery / chopsticks.
Parking on the street. Kid friendly. Toilets available.

These guys have really lifted their game over the past few years! The food is quick, delicious and cheap - who says you can't have all three! And if anyone complains that it's not very "Vietnamese" I think maybe they need to go to Vietnam. Oh and the bahn mi is 9.5/10 if you want a quick and easy lunch (and you don't need to line up down the street like some other places on the other side of town)! 🥖🇻🇳👍

One of the best little gems on the Brunswick Street strip. Everything is made from scratch, including the delicious fried shallots on the perfectly pillowy bao.

I eat here upwards of 3 times a week, table outside in the sun, a delicious beef betel leaf and spring roll vermicelli and a coconut coffee crusher. Absolutely divine, cheap and always smiley service.

One of the best pho in Melbourne. Broth is on par with famous places in Footscray and Richmond. Beef is better! I love that the pho is served with crimson peppers.
