Youngman Cafe

First of all the food was great, simple but full of taste. I like the environment, however, the place was a bit small. I also like the idea of the kitchen on the front where you can see while they are cooking. Overall all the food was great, the service was great, the environment was great and I would really recommend this place. Try the Smash Avo

Absolutely fantastic cafe with exceptional service and top quality food. If you are ever in the region and looking for a quality breakfast/brunch, look no further.

I visited Melbourne from England and stumbled across this cafe, and I was so pleased I did. From the outside it looks like your normal high street cafe, but once inside (or on the outside tables) you’ll experience the excellent service and food, and you won’t be disappointed.

The breakfast/brunch/lunch menu is extensive all of which are cooked as you wait with fresh local produce. The food quality is high and the portions really good and substantial.

The drinks menu is also great with a variety of coffees, teas, juices, smoothies and soft drinks (check out the specials).

And finally, probably the main reason for customers returning to this cafe time and again are the staff who make the experience so much better than your run of the mill cafe. Very accommodating with flexibility when ordering to swift efficient service throughout. And of course the friendly Australian welcome 🇦🇺

Good food with friendly and prompt service. The coffee was good too. The vibe was laid back cafe that catered more to locals. There's outdoors seating at the front of the shop with decent seating space indoors. #goodcoffee #brunchcafe

Very accommodating!

We Walked in as a group of 8 without a booking and we’re given a table with plenty of space! The Staff were super welcoming and even provided colouring in for the kids! Food & Coffee was delicious, servings were a generous size and fairly priced! Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Living local I love popping into this cafe for a quick drink or for brunch. I always get super fast and friendly service. Each time I walk past the place the owner always gives me a friendly wave and smile.

What a lovely little gem of a cafe. I was in the area looking for a breakfast and stumbled across Youngman. The cafe has a great atmosphere and is located well to pass the time if your car is getting serviced at one of the many dealers/mechanics on high street.

I had the Youngman breakfast which was tasty and served beautifully and recommend for those looking for a big breakfast with vegies otherwise the American breakfast also looks amazing, I also had a coffee which was good and I always appreciate latte art.

What really stood out was the service and service to regulars (which there seemed to be a lot of). Greating many by name and having a very friendly conversation really makes me wish I could add this place to my regular visits.

Overall a perfect place for a coffee and breakfast, Looking forward to coming back next time I'm nearby.

Love this place and have now been here a few times mostly because the staff are always so nice. But it’s also the good menu, great atmosphere and the ever delightful playlist playing in the background.
Food recommendations would be the house-cured salmon for breakfast or for brunch the veggie salad bowl.
Plenty of books, magazines and newspapers to read plus bonus books for kids as well as pens and pencils. Decor is just homely and inviting.
You eat in or there are a few tables outside. Takeaway food is available.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Highchairs available. Good parking - better than down in the main shopping area.

I come here fairly frequently and have tried a few things on the menu.
It's all been great! (I'm a chef, so I'm a tough crowd) The Chef produces the perfect poached egg every time. Coffee is reliably good.

Everything is reasonably priced, the avo on toast isn't as much as your rent!

The owner is really lovely. It's easy to see her staff like her too & their quality customer service reflects this.

I can easily recommend this place for your go-to for brekky, a coffee or some sweet treat. Super glad I've got a reliable local!!!
