Dr Rocco Schiavone

Dr Rocco isn’t your typical GP that will just give you a bandaid and write you any prescription for any small illness. He cares about health & you get a good consultation every time you go in. I also take my daughter here and we are well looked after by him and his team.

My mum suddenly lost her speech and we immediately called an ambulance. The paramedics told us it was likely to be a "depression crisis" (because she could not stop crying) and advised us to seek the opinion of a GP. So we took her to Dr. Schiavone. He immediately ordered some exams and told us it was possible she had a mini-stroke and advised us to take her immediately to a hospital. Dr. Schiavone was right, mum was diagnosed with stroke and they found a large plaque of cholesterol in her artery (neck) and had to have surgery immediately after. We received a follow-up call from Dr. Schiavone the day after and were very pleased with his care and attitude.

Dr Schiavone has been my doctor for a number of years. I have found his service to be exemplary and professional. I highly recommend him.

I brought my son to see Dr Rocco and he was not comfortable with him. I needed a referal for my son which Dr Rocco provided. He did not ask for much background nor consider if there were better treatment options for my son.
We have since transferrd to another local doctor. The difference in treatment and approach is very noticeable. If you've never had a good doctor, then Dr Rocco probably seems fine, when you've had exceptional care you really notice the shortcomings of past doctors - like our experience with Dr Rocco. He is average.
