-server was attentive and very respectful
-curry was delicious
-spicy edemame was perfect!
-katsu and karaage chicken was genuinely amazing, so crunchy n juicy

Great little gem located in the city. Very clean, small and cosy.

We both ordered a bento box mine being the chicken teriyaki and my partners was the beef teriyaki.

Food came out freshly made and tasted great, would come back

We ordered the salmon tataki, beef teppanyaki set, gyu tan, asari sake and unagi fried rice (not in pic). Everything was prepared fresh and tasted really good. Best of all, there was no MSG in the food.

Went in there at 230..missed the lunch rush…but the owner was cleaning up, but the owner said no problems, and I had the bento teriyaki special with miso…delicious with a Kirin Ichiban. Authentic Japanese and friendly service. The spring roll, tempura no salmon were very good. Will be back again.

Delicious quick lunch here! The takoyaki and okonomoyaki was some of the best I’ve had. Every thing tasted super fresh too. Will definitely be back

This little Japanese gem is hidden away off the street and well worth a visit. This is my go to for lunch anytime I'm shopping in town. Sashimi is always fresh and the food is delicious. Great value for money.

A great little place in the heart of the city. Hidden away in an arcade this place has super friendly staff and the food is delicious and well priced. We took 3 kids and they really enjoyed the food and were well looked after. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant and the range of dishes is good.

The food is great!! I loved everything, the service is amazing, the food is fresh and the environment is very comfortable.

Quite fresh sashimi but a little bit pricey. But you get what you paid. Highly recommended.

FYI, this place have special offer from around 3pm to 5pm daily. This place is underrated. The Gyu curry don is very delicious. Highly recommended.

We dined here for dinner and enjoyed a very nice meal. Tempura was lovely, chicken Katszu bento box was delicious and a generous serving size. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very relaxing according to my son ☺

Hidden gem in Melbourne. Had the katsu curry rice and was blown away. Will definitely be coming back to fuel my tummy and soul.

It's been quite a few years since we last visited this restaurant. This time the food is even better. We ordered some side dishes, and nabiyaki udon, as well as the Kaneda House special, the sushi and sashimi are fresh and very delicious. The udon is truly yum. The choice of udon is limited, though. The owner was lovely. Apparently really Japanese chefs work there. This obvious explain the high quality food. Would love to go back more often now.

Chicken katsu is phenomenal. Teriyaki chicken and beef are amazing as well. I will definitively come back again.

The restaurant was amazing. The staff was kind and professional, and they knew what they were doing. The food was pretty nice too, but I am yet to try some of the things which caught my attention. Definelty try the bento boxes.
