The Station Cafe Bar Restaurant

Had lunch here on a very wet day during the Energy Breakthrough event. Can sit inside or outside under cover on the platform. Friendly and quick service. Salt & Pepper Calamari was very enjoyable. Cappuccino good. Coffee loyalty card. Reasonable prices.

Came on a Friday afternoon so it was nice and quiet. What a great idea for a train platform! Had fish and chips and pork belly burger. Both were fantastic! The outdoor seating is nice and spacious! Was a bit of a chill though but that's just standard Melbourne weather for you!

Good coffee and food! Really friendly people - service was great. While you can sit inside, we enjoyed sitting in their nicely set up outside area on the station platform (covered). And we enjoyed sharing the experience with our pooch. FYI, dogs are not allowed / welcome down the main street (thanks to the local shire). But this place loves dogs! 🐶❤

Amazing food service and atmosphere
The service was efficient and the drinks were wonderful. Everyone had a smile on their face on our table. Great food, well priced with high quality ingredients. Lovely location. Highly recommend they are open for breakfast as well

Charming little restaurant located in the grand old building of the Maryborough train station. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. I had the salt and pepper calamari which was lovely and tender and my husband had the chicken parma - the triple cooked potatoes were delish!!

What an experience to dine here. From entree, to mains to dessert it was made to perfection. I did notice there wasn’t cucumber or tomato in my salad, but I know how to read the menu, unlike other previous customers and enjoyed my mixed leaf salad with home made dressing. I’ll be back boys xx

The place, beautiful. The food, yummy. The service, 5 star. Simon was just lovely. He took the time to also give us some history about his background, the Station itself and even some good old ghost stories. This is a place we plan to come back to for dinner and even a quick train trip from Ballarat for lunch. 5 out of 5!

Our lunch was delicious and in generous quantities. The staff were friendly and helpful in answering questions. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and are keen to try the new summer menu. It was a satisfying experience to eat here.

This is a lovely place for lunch. Food is excellent and the iced chai was very nice. We had a chicken parma and the lamb souvlaki. We could sit outside right on the platform. Staff are very nice and food came out quickly. There's also a nice information centre next doors. Highly recommended!

Super friendly and helpful. I was meeting a friend and they had a water bowl out and ready for my Assistant Dog when we arrived.

Excellent High Tea with delicious lemonade scones, savoury pie and croquettes along with profiteroles and chocolate truffles all made in their kitchen. The food and service was excellent as was the glass of champagne. Very good quality pot of tea served with the High Tea.
Definitely be back soon.

Beautiful venue, wonderful cake selection, friendly staff, excellent presentation.

We also greatly appreciated complimentary water with ice, and that you are dog friendly (with water bowl).

The almond orange cake was moist, flavourful and not too sweet.
