Best Friends Fabrics

What I said to the bestie: "you need to come get me because I want to buy everything in this place."
I've found my new heaven. Both shops (Best Friends and Tokouso) have an array of fabrics that I could spend hours upon hours browsing through. There were so many multicultural designs that had my creativity flourishing.
I can absolutely guarantee that there are fabrics here you will NOT find at Spotlight, and the loveliest people willing to help you.
I highly recommend perusing these stores if you're looking for something different.
I can't wait to go back!

Very nice little shop that should be better known by the sewing community - the fabric is cheap but quality is still good. you can get fabrics for $5 and even $2 a meter. Mostly printed fabrics. The owner is really friendly. Definitely one of the cheapest places in Melbourne to buy fabrics. It's good to support small businesses like these - you'll never know what you'll find until you look!

I was very happy that I went to this place for the first time, I was satisfied with the service, helpful, friendly n very polite. Owner knows best, her n her kids boy n girl, go out of their way to make sure, everyone is welcomed, helped n served well with correct request of what they want n need with picking n buying their materials. Awesome fabric shop.

Absolutely beautiful fabrics. Embroidered mesh, velvets, sequin fabrics and so much more. I could spend a fortune in here!

Its a shame that you cant buy less then a meter of fabric. I wish everything was priced, rather then asking every few minutes for the price.
