Afghan Delicious Kebab House

I enjoyed the mixed kebabs with bread and salad. Then enjoyed the icecream style sweets.

Easy parking out front and not too busy for an early evening dinner.

Really good food, the Mantu was spiced well and the pallow with chicken tikka was delicious. Highly recommend for the next time you’re in the area!

Excellent food and great service! Also beautiful clean furniture. Ordered the lamb kebab and the chicken tikka kebab, which both come with 4 massive freshly cooked skewers of meat, generous serve if yoghurt, mint sauce, fresh salad and fresh bread/roti/pita type. Owner even asked if we wanted another serve of bread. He checked on all his customers and took interest but not in a nosy way. We finished off with a mango lassi which was refreshing. I pretty much died in heaven as I am a carnivore and left 110% satisfied. If there was any downside it was just that you can only pay in cash but absolutely well worth it! Will be coming back again and inviting others.

We drove 45 minutes in search of delicious Afghan food and this place was absolute perfection. First of all the service is lovely, and the person making our food went above and beyond! Secondly and maybe more importantly the food was AMAZING. We ordered a variety of things from the menu (mixed grill with rice, kofta curry, mantu). All the food was super tasty and fresh!! Price point is great as well. Will be making the trip down here again!

Me and my partner have been coming here for a year while we could and dont know why i havnt left a review sooner. This Afghan restaurant has the best food, offers and hospitality you can ask for. We have come here often and have bought groups in being confident they will love the place and they have. Love love !

I frequently visit Afghani restaurants. It is good for a change of taste. They serve freshly prepared food so it takes time sometimes to get your food. But overall good experience.

I have tried Mantu in almost every shop in Dandeong area and found only 3 of them to be truly good. The rest are just below average. Their Mantu is definitely top 3.

The Shopan kebab is the best I have had. All fresh ingredients and very hospitable environment with family and young kids. Very few places to enjoy good value and excellent food.
