They seem to have a problem getting the paper to me on Mondays.
I'm not totally surprised by these reviews.
Unfortunately as also described below, return communication is in short supply, so I was unable to adequately assess the reason.
I suspect its the day off for the usual driver in his zippy bright blue Honda Jazz.
He would obviously need a rest and good shoulder massage at least one day per week.
I'm going to report another non-delivery to the Subscriber Centre*, and would expect a credit.

I gave them a more generous rating than others as at least they do deliver it most days.

I stumbled across this place and was shocked by what I saw inside. I actually asked how long they had been here because I wasn't sure if they had just moved in or were in process of moving out, there were parcels and boxes all over the place, a chaotic mess so I'm not surprised place has so many one star reviews and I feel for those who selected this place as parcel collection point, always select a Post Office (if possible). Yes they have magazines and cards but really I don't know what is going on here.

Often slow or late with delivery of morning newspaper. Sometimes no paper at all.. When calling to enquire, they rarely answer the phone. If paper not delivered by 8.00, they told me I must ring them by 9.00 or I get no paper, but refer above, they rarely answer the phone so NO PAPER.

Looks like a dollar store more than a new agent, they provide shipping / post services but pretty disorganised TBH.

No paper delivery since 4 May. Was regularly delivered week day up until then. No phone calls returned after leaving messages every day. Went to the store. Told the man our problem. Thought it might be the driver. He said the driver been delivering for him for 17 years! Received credit for non-delivered paper days. This is still happening even after this. No return phone calls. Worst customer service. Today I waited out the front of my property for the paper. No delivery. Who knows what's going on? Hopeless. Truly hopeless.

This has to be the the worst experience of collecting a parcel in my entire life. They are either closed, unsure where your parcel. My $300 shoes where delivers here in December and they still continue to tell me they never got the package after the company confirmed they delivered it here weeks ago. The phone number to this agency is disconnected so you can’t even call to check if your package has arrived. Something very odd is going on here, I’m starting to think he’s sold my package or kept it. So so bizarre, and really disappointing. After I questioned where my package is the owner yelled and said get out and don’t come back here. Please DO NOT SEND YOUR PACKAGE HERE!!!!!

No delivery yet again and being Sunday they’re already closed. In the past I’ve been told it’s probably been stolen and the paper replaced very reluctantly. Very poor service especially as it’s usually necessary to search in bushes or even the gutter!
April 2022 - no Saturday paper delivered for 8 weeks. Go and complain every week and get replacement. It closes at 12.30 every day, phone is disconnected and the poor lady who works in the mornings has to cope with the customer complaints. Deserves at least a minus 5.

Extremely disappointed as I turned up at 2:25pm on a Wednesday afternoon to pick up a delivery. There was a sign on the door stating ‘Back by 2:30pm today, thanks’. I waited till 3pm and the doors were still closed with no one in sight. This is not good enough. Many of us have other matters to attend to, instead we are wasting our time waiting for the shop owner to return and open the doors.
In the future, please be back on time or hire more staff to cover lunch breaks.
Won’t be sending my deliveries here again in the future. Massive inconvenience. Don’t recommend!

Went to collect a parcel and the attendant started telling me it wasn't there before he'd even looked at the parcels strewn all over the floor. He checked a few with the enthusiasm of a person who has been asked to dig their own grave. "It's not here, or might be under a different name" and went back to doing other things - then went on to tell a lady he wouldn't have got any of her messages because he lost his phone.

While I was checking delivery information he accidently stumbled across my parcel (on the desk in front of him) and begrudgingly handed it over.

I needed to use parcel point drop off, and this place is the only one in the area. On Google, it says they open at 5am, and I arrived at 9.10am and they were closed. I waited for half an hour and then asked one of the other neighbouring shops if they had closed down, and was told that they open and close as they wish without any structure.

An absolute inconvenience, especially when you have a baby and large parcels to drop off!

ETA: had to use parcel point drop off on another occasion, but they were once again closed at 9.30am.

Was so unfortunate that i selected this agency as my parcel collection point & struggling to pickup since 2nd December been over a month. Either they don’t have the parcel even if the company confirms they received it or they close the store - no reason provided. Invalid number on google, incorrect time on google. I am not surprised to see so many similar reviews already but i regret why didn’t i check that earlier. Worst worst experience ever and seems they don’t even care.

I’ve come here two days in a really row at different times and both times there signs on the door “Be back at x pm”. Very annoying, especially when you short on time and rely on the services. No mention on the door or on the internet of regular lunch breaks. The name newsagency is misleading and this practice is disrespectful. Should have looked at the reviews before coming!!

I bought an AFL stats book for my son today as a gift to cheer him up (medical issues). It cost me $39.95. I am a single Mum. $39.95 is not a small amount for me. My son was in the car outside the shop. I gave him the book and he, whilst thankful, asked if I could get my money back as it wasn’t a good book and not one he would use. So I was back into the newsagency. Asked politely for a refund. Was told no refund available, only exchange. They had sold out of every other football related book and magazine. I didn’t want nor need $39.95 of anything else there. I asked if they’d make an exception on this occassion. Explained I’d literally only just bought the book, it hadn’t even been opened, and I was back in store within 15 mins. No. Wouldn’t refund. I begged. Explained $39.95 is a lot for me. Explained I was trying to cheer up my son. Gave his medical circumstance. No. No refund. I just find this mean spirited. My Dad was a Newsagent for 35 years. I’m damn sure he would have refunded it. But then he is a kind human being.

I would give it zero star if it is possible, terrible place!!! They didn't display a new year trading hours notice, not contactable by phone, I needed to pick up my parcel and had already visited this store twice so far and they were always closed. I could see a staff inside but she was not helpful at all......avoid avoid avoid, will never use they again!!!
