Absolutely beautiful place 100% recommend.

Great place to go for a walk nothing around

It was awesome, picnic, bbq, great atmosphere.

This is a beautiful place for a picnic and walk, but I highly recommend checking whether there has been recent and plentiful rainfall in the area if you want to see the falls really flowing. There are toilets, picnic tables and fire pits at the carpark but no shelter. The walk to top of the falls is fairly short and easy, but the section to the bottom of the falls is steep and very slippery when wet.

A pleasant walk through an old forestry site (complete with rusting engine) to a cascade down into a pool. The best views require continuing from the top lookout to the pool, but be prepared for some rock hopping there.

A nice short walk from the picnic area. Tracknsteps are a bit degraded but not too bad if able bodied.

A nice drive in, but can be a bit corrugated after rain. Pleasant walk down to the falls, good view from above looking downstream. There's also a slightly more challenging walk to the base of the falls. Please take care if you are making your ways across the rocks at the very bottom to chase a clearer view.

The falls are located at the end of the walking track from Young Creek Picnic Area. The trail is an easy walk from the car park. There is a viewing platform at the top of the falls and another trail leading down to the bottom. If using the lower trail, be prepared to clamber over boulders at the base of the falls.
(Some months later): The drought has now affected the amount of water at the falls. Hope they will improve after rain.

Was a pretty cool place to visit, not too much to look at really. The water wasnt flowing.

Last few boxes to tick while staying in Orbost and this is mentioned on the town tourist map. Not a long or difficult drive, dirt track at the end but perfectly ok for any car. The picnic ground has a couple of fire places and tables. There is a long drop toilet. The falls were dry thought with only a few stagnant mozzie filled pools. Might be good after the rains but not a place to visit otherwise.

All the pictures and comments are correct, everyone else is just being too generous with their stars. It's not worth the drive. Don't go. The waterfall is cute, but tiny. The walk is alright, but short and not worth your time. There is a viewing platform, but there is absolutely nothing to see. Just some stagnant water and a drizzle down the side of the rock. And to top it all off, the mosquitos are awful! We were eaten alive! And spent the next hour of our drive home killing all the mosquitos that had flown into the car. There are so many better

Water was dirty and hardly any water coming off even after alot of rain.
