On the O’Keefe Rail Trail you will find the Axedale Racecourse train stop from years gone by. This former railway station platform /siding has been formally identified by a replica turn-of-the-20th century VR station name board. This Axedale Racecourse board denotes where the former station was located and was installed by Friends of the Bendigo-Kilmore Rail Trail’s community project. If you are not bike riding the trail, a short walk from Minter Lane will have rail enthusiasts at the site in about 10 or so minutes. There are no facilities here.
