Excellent food and service. We got the pumpkin pie porridge and it was delicious. They were also considerate when my friend asked if they could remove the cinnamon dusting on top. The breakfast board is very well presented and has both sweet and savoury items. But the drinks are what make this place so signature Melbourne, especially the coffee!

It was a stunning space, the building is beautiful and keeps a lot of the original character. The lighting is REALLY pretty, as you can see from how beautiful it made the food look.
Definitely a little more on the pricey end of the sort of average Melbourne brunch experience but well worth the visit for sure 🥰

The atmosphere was simply amazing, setting the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. The barista breakfast offered a unique experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service, as it was noticeably slow, and there were moments when it felt like our orders had been forgotten.

I went there yesterday. The ocean trout and beef hash were flavourful and delicious. The lamb shank was a bit bland. Atmosphere and service was good. I had an issue with one of my plates and they resolved it promptly.

Food is super fresh and was made pretty quickly despite how busy it was on a weekend

The passion fruit drink and iced vanilla latte was next level , really above and beyond , not too sweet but almost sweet enough ,

Iced chocolate was okay , nothing too special

The salmon was incredibly soft and cooked to perfection , just melts in your mouth

Got the chicken sandwich which was massive , cut in the middle and all the juices came out , fries taste very similar to maccas fries

Staff are very friendly , ample parking nearby in queensberry street , little on street parking
Free parking on the weekend , metered parking during the week

Auction Rooms stands as a Melbourne brunch institution, and for good reason! Love their industrial-styled interiors, which span a large warehouse space with a central courtyard, encapsulating Melbourne's iconic fusion of grit and beauty. The menu also hits all the right notes. I had their fork-tender pulled beef brisket, which elicited cravings alongside the refreshing Hugo Spritz. Despite returning to Auction Rooms numerous times over the years, I consistently find the food and ambiance satisfying. Despite the perpetual hype surrounding this packed brunch hotspot, Auction Rooms delivers quality dishes and memorable spaces that truly live up to the hype.

The food was delicious and beautifully plated. We had the summer tomatoes, miso baked salmon, eggplant cannelloni and the corned beef hash. The eggplant and tomato dish really stood out for us, both tasted amazing and were filling.

It is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and service definitely made up for it. Def give this place a go for a delicious brunch.

My husband and I came here for a late lunch. We were greeted by a lady who was full of energy and friendly service. Food was nice and the matcha iced latte was fantastic. My husband ordered two. Look forward to returning soon 👍🏻

A lovely setting, a nice outdoor space and in doors with plenty of character. Food and service was great.

The quality of the food and coffee at Auction Rooms is excellent and the venue is very trendy. I ordered the French toast with frosted pecans, caramelized banana, whipped cream and bacon with maple syrup. It was sublime. It's a pretty popular destination so you might have to queue up for 10-15 minutes but it's worth the wait.

Incredible food!! Healthy and tasty menu items for everyone - fresh vegetables, many protein options, hot drinks, and everything looked beautiful enough to be published in a book! This ties for my favorite restaurant in Melbourne.

Always love to come here for a nice coffee n beautiful food. Staff alway nice n they love to chitchat with u. I love the back room that good a tree inside. Never regret if I decide to visit this cafe.

A top notch brunch! A large lively old auction house with plenty of indoor and outdoor tables! The food was delicious, we had the French toast brioche with bacon and sourdough with poached eggs. The skinny latte and flat white were great and the orange juice fresh and refreshing. Staff were attentive and friendly. A wholly wonderful experience! Get yourself along

Lovely lunch with delicious food, lovely weather, sitting in the shade. What more could I ask for? I ordered the breakfast board, grilled chorizo, potato rotisserie with BBQ sauce, smoke salmon, garlic bread, soft boiled egg, and mango chia pudding with bits of berries, almond, pomegranate and mint! Soo good!

I had the pumpkin prridge and it was very nice, filling. Great winter option.
