Rowville Bakery

One of the best bakeries in Melbourne.
Great range of pies, Thai Chicken Curry, Chilli, Steak & Onion and heaps more. The sausage rolls are huge and their Quiches are so yummy.
The best thing about the above is that they are not too pastry, flaky and you can eat them without it all spilling over you.
The cakes & doughnuts are excellent too.
Every time i travel down from North Queensland i have to go here regularly. :-)

Highly recommend this bakery. Great selection of bread and pies at such competitive price. Been a frequent customer for the past 3 months ever since I noticed there was an independent bakery in Rowville. Soy and Linseed Loaf, Multigrain and Wholemeal loaf taste way better than the major supermarket chains. They provide outstanding friendly customer service. Definitely worth dropping in. I would just like to put on the record that these are in fact the BEST SAUSAGE ROLLS in Melbourne and the previous reviewer that only had nasty things to say about the saus rolls clearly doesn’t know what they are talking about. Perfectly crispy but soft pastry, delicately balanced flavour and huge serving size for $3.10. Do yourself a favour and get on down to the Rowville Hot Bread.

Delicious, we tried the Chicken ,leek & mushroom pie, Shepard's pie and had 2 Danish, all were delicious

Best coffee scrolls in victoria

The products sold here are economical, and dont let the price dissuade you, as the product is wonderful. A great variety of products at a cheap price, and the quality is great.

Rolls were excellent

It's a case of lucky dip if they are even open when you visit! No signage to specify their timing - just closed more often than not!

Good apple cakes. I think they have a European pastry chef now. Hope to see some European cakes.

Cheap and cheary!

Growing up in Rowville, I have been coming here for over 30 years. I was local today, so came in for a sausage roll and pizza bread. Well! The place obviously has new owners, and their prices are ridiculous! I'll come back once these people have gone broke, and sell this once use to be hotspot, back to a good operator, not someone trying to charge $5.40 for reheating a store bought sausage roll! Do not recommend!!!

New owners and they are hugely overpriced .I used to go and bbuy a selection of 4-5 cakes every week . under $10 . now can get 2 . no thanks and all the good cakes arnt even there . not much of a selection. Ended up going to supermarket next door and getting 6 cakes for under 4$ . very dissapointing

Pizza roll is yum, but the sausage roll! 😳
It’s is hard, dry and not nice at all.

"Where pies go to die" - Thought we'd grab a pie-lunch for sunday for the family... Thick utterly tasteless pastry... more like dough with no flavor beyond flour/water with heat applied. A SMALL amount of meat and thickening agent constituted the just as tasteless 'gravy'. Sausage rolls were equally disappointing- no good flavors or decent pastry. Not sure of their other items but judging by how badly the pies/sausage rolls were made I won't be risking my money to find out.

Flatly refuse to pay $17.40 for 2 pasties and a sausage roll!!!
You need to reconsider your pricing structure otherwise you will be lucky to see out the year!!
