Delicious Malaysian curries to be had here. Always busy full with locals. Great opening hours. Curries are all on display but you can also order dishes as well. Order and payment is done first and then you are allocated a table.

Curries are full of flavour and the meats are always juicy and delicious. As a personal preference though, I do prefer my curries to be slightly more creamier to cut through the spices.

Authentic street Malaysian street food! You will notice the locals come down here and it does get packed. Probably hands down the best Malayasian street I've eaten in Melbourne. This place is a gem! Flavours are very rich, punched with full of flavour and meat. Nice and tender meat and not a piece dry. Portion generous and very affordable. I would always come here again whatever you eat from their store is not a disappointment!!

Amazing flavoursome food and good dining experience. The whole place smells of yummy food and makes you really hungry. Customer service was really great - the person who served me at the counter was very friendly, honest & helpful (i.e., my partner is vegetarian and the counter guy clearly explained why nothing was vegetarian). Overall had a good experience and yummy authentic food.

Nasi Kandar is a popular dish from northern Malaysia originally introduced by Tamil Muslims in India. The meal consists of steamed rice combined with an array of distinct curries, sides dishes, and gravies.

We had the goat curry and sambal chicken, both were delicious when paired up with their vegetables & rice.

The Mee goreng Mamak was the best my husband ever had. He said it was better than the ones he had in Bali. Of course it's probably comparable to ones in Malaysia but we haven't been to Malaysia yet.

The roti with garlic & dal were also really good. No wonder the FB group said it's one of the best roti in Melbourne.

The goat murtabak was ok, a lot of meat, less egg. Still good nevertheless. Everything is around medium spice level.

Again was recomnended by an associate. Went there for my craving of Malaysian Nasi Kandar. I ordered the Baramundi Fish set, my famoly ordered Lamshank Nasi Kandar and another Fish Curry and Nasi Lemak with Chicken. We ordered additional Maggi Goreng. It was superb and even better the ones on KL or even Penang. The staff were polite and service excellence. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back.

An outstanding meal :) We had roti canai and nasi kandar. Both were delicious, with generous portions and made freshly with quality ingredients.

Every bite brings back memories of my childhood in Malaysia. Definitely one of the most authentic Malaysian food in Melbourne. Worth traveling 30 mins just to eat here every time. The roti canai is freshly made and is so fluffy and tasty, I always order extra takeaway to bring home as a snack. The curries are busting such rich flavor that makes you wanting more. The teh tarik is strong and well made. The furniture and decor are simple just like in Malaysia. I’ve been here 3 times in 2 months and would come back again if I’m ever nearby. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone wanting a real taste of Malaysia.

Authentic food combined with the atmosphere, you feel like you’re in Malaysia. The food was delicious and service was great. They are open late so you can dine in typical Malaysian fashion.

Food was amazing! Prata $4 only! With authentic Malaysian style curry. Nasi kanda, Mee rojak, Nasi lemak, Milo dinosaur, bandung, tea o Kumar mouth watering! No regrets

Happened upon this place by chance and boy am I glad we did!

From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you know you’re in for an authentic experience. The wall of aromas from the curries cooking in the back hits you, and the familiar setup of a nasi kandar shop in Malaysia puts you at ease.

More importantly, the food was exceptional. I have to give a special call-out for the goat curry. Thick, flavourful, pungent in all the right ways, coating the delicious cubes of goat meat which were perfectly tender and had the right ratio of fat to lean meat.

The roti canai was also really well executed - flaky on the outside, a slight chew on the inside and good buttery (margarine-y?) notes throughout. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Delicious foods and drinks! Fried rice taste the same as I had in my hometown. Kwetiauw and fried noodle were so so though. Also the sweet waiter gave free teh tarik as service. Thank you!

Memang terbaik lah...terasa kari mamak penang...bolih viralkan buat semua...terbaik. The best original malaysian food..so delicious...had my rice double with fried chicken and mutton curry. The roti canai is so good, soft with delicious dal curry and also pasembur...i will repeat again when i come to melbourne. Thumbs up for you...i give 10 stars foe this restoren.

Great authentic food that's almost as good as Malaysia! Apart from the nasi kandar (which obviously is great), roti telur was one of the best I've had in Melbourne. You'll also notice that the place is packed with Malaysians, so that should tell you something.

This is our first time visit. Delicious Malaysian dishes, very friendly staff. Love this restaurant, will come back again!

One of the best if not the best nasi kandar in Melbourne. Authentic and original just like how they do it back in KL and Penang.

The most popular item on the menu is rice with serve of meat and one vege. The curry is mixed with the various curries available and on top of that it's also abundant (read banjir). Some of the dishes are spicy, and not adjusted to suit local spicy level which makes is 100% more authentic

Also tried the rojak, the kuah was just perfect balance and not too sweet like some other places.

Roti banjir with curry and half boiled egg, perfection.

Will definitely go to try out some other dishes in the future.

Our takeaway nasi kandar was delicious with sambal chicken drumstick (standout dish), lamb (very tender) and eggplant, all buried under an avalanche of rice and sauce. This place is now on our "Nasi Kandar fix in Melbourne" list 😊

Sambal very spicy even for my Malaysian palate but nice! Roti canal fresh and crispy. Love the ROJAK!
