This little beauty is so refreshing ! Lots of places to park and fish or go for a kayak and light a fire if needed and there is heaps of fish in the river ! Before U turn into the street there is a camping ground

Twin bridges is the perfect spot for every age and also dog friendly. We took some floaties there and we dont regret it. Good for picnic's and family gatherings. Great for if you have a kayak or some sort of boat as there's a super close and easy access to the boat ramp. Plenty of good fishing spots for those that like to fish and a rope swing for those that are dare devils. However be mindful of the strong currant. Lovely view.

Went to have a fish, took a wrong turn, ended up putting 4x4 through its paces. Just need a winch and I might be able to get right through. I will be back

Awesome location for travellers and weekend warriors and road trippers looking for a place relax by the Brisbane River. Perfect for anyone with an interest in kayaking, fishing, swimming, camping,
Dog friendly, perfect base for free campers/travellers.
Set up camp above or adjacent to the water line depending on your vehicle's capabilities, be amongst the gum trees with a fire at night.

Recent significant flood water damage is still visible but nevertheless still a great spot for a picnic/bbq and a swim with the dog.

Pro's- This spot is situated on the western side of "Fernvale"heading towards Wivenhoe Dam. It is few kilometres from a major supermarket and essential services.
Picnic tables under shelter, dog friendly, Toilets, water, great sunset,

Con's- Camping spots vary and some are relatively close to a very busy road especially during peak hours.

If you are chasing a hideaway camping location (minus ablutions), this place is for you. 4wd tracks, fishing, kayaking, running water and still water. Just make sure you take your waste with you and keep the area clean.

#free camp site in Queensland - wow what a rare site in that state - thanks to whoever of the locals supported that site for travelers - #dump point in town available - stayed for 3 night - supported local business with spending about $650 by eating and buying food as well as fill up our Diesel and some maintenance work we otherwise would have done elsewhere - keep it up and open guys
