Glen Waverley (The Hangout) Coin Laundry

It is one of a best coin laundries I have seen in the Melbourne eastern suburbs. It's clean, neat & tidy. There is a ATM machine nearby & there is a coin machine inside the laundry. It has very fast free WiFi which clocked up to 25Mbps when I ran a speed test. It opens everyday including public holidays until midnight. Highly recommend this place.

Yup, just as described in other comments, Victor is a legend. Always happy to small talk. The facility is neat and clean. Enough parking outside and always a free machine to use. Decent prices.

The laundry is very clean and the machines are a variety of sizes - perfect for large items like duvets.

been there a few times now great place very clean and tidy and i would like to thank the owner for the security measures in place. that to me is a number one thing these days, so thank you but as far as the service itself excelent service clean and tidy. and yes will be going there everytime, as i hve a double size woolen blanket this place has the machine i need to wash this its heavy duty and i dont mind the cost at least i know that it will be cleaned thourogly other than that.better than any other place ive been in the past.. thank u again, for a service, that i myself can rely on.. you all stay safe and may the rest of 2022 be a good one to all god bless.....

Accessible and clean laundry open till 12pm. Good machines, dryer, soap available, coim change machine present and pay be card.

Victor (owner) was super friendly and helpful. I have never been in any coin laundry that has this kind of support. Beside the best service, all the machines and place are super clean + neat.

At last a modern day laundromat that is payable with debit card as well as coins for both machines and dryers. Both cost $5 to operate. Washing machine goes for 38mins and dryer for 30mins. It also has free wifi. There is an amazing bakery next door as well as IGA, fish n chips and chemist. Cannot recommend enough the "Hangout" laundromat.

Very convenient highly automated place. There is an atm just outside but it charges for cash withdrawals.

There is a change machine inside which accepts up to 20 dollar bills. Have always obtained enough coins from the change machine.

I visit to use the dryers and I find them hygienic. My family and I have not contracted any skin conditions after using this place.

Will recommend. Will visit until I buy my own dryer...

Laundry is very clean. They have big machine 18kg and a slightly bigger one. So you can wash pillow, quilt and blankets.

Top of the tops! Very pleased and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Dispensed coins are sanitised via washing with detergent and then dried...touchless hand sanitiser dispenser available and credit card pay options via a touch screen tablet console also available all linked to the machines.

Oh, and ... All machines look clean and new and high tech.

And Victor tells me that even the machines themselves are sanitised regularly !

Only one requirement is that Victor insists that you must scan your smartphone against his Covid QR Code contact tracing online register before he will even let you proceed - fair enough in these times!

Pleasantly surprised that prices are still on par with far inferior rundown places in other suburbs.

This coin laundry is professionally well managed. It is VERY CLEAN - the shop is clean, the washing machines and dryers are spotless. Owner cleans the machine and there is NO SOAP SCUM in the inner rubber of the washing machines. You can be sure that your laundry is clean every time you use this establishment. Thank you for maintaining your professional service.

The owner here is an absolute legend! So lovely and polite, really helpful with the machines, shows he cares a lot about the business as I always see him in there assisting others and cleaning the premise. Can't speak more highly of him!

It’s our first time using a laundromat. We came to use the dryer. This place is great, it’s very clean with new machines. There are many washers and dryers, seats for customers, free wifi and coin machine. Met the friendly owner too. We highly recommend this place.

Definitely the best laundromat that I've been to. Everything is well maintained and cleaned regularly. There's a change machine and atm. Also, the opening hours are very convenient. Very friendly staff to add!

Excellent service. Washing machine coins jammed up. I called the service number and they came and gave me my money back in 15 minutes and apologised . Very clean . Would definitely use again .

Clean and well presented. I had been helping a friend with her washing and the owner gave me alot of help when I was there, even came to my car to help unload the washing. Thx heaps, don't see this sort of service everyday👌👍
