Good location, it's near Melbourne's very famous Queen Victoria market. At the beginning of the street, there is a Vietnamese pho restaurant that is also quite crowded. This CarricHouse has many long-term South Asia students staying. The rooms are quite good, but the the height of the lower bunk bed is too low. You can't even sit on it. Each room has its own toilet outside, not shared with other rooms.
The dining room and living room area on the ground floor is very lovely as it has a frontage overlooking the street. Cooking a bowl of noodles and bringing it to the dining table to enjoy and watch passersby is a very worthwhile added value of this hotel.
The receptionist girl was quite cheerful and gentle. At CarricHouse, you will have to deposit $100, for the key, bowl, spoon, fork...
Rest assured, if you do not lose the key, you will 100% definitely get your money back.

It is right in the heart of the city. Walking distance from Queen Victoria market. The evening view from the balcony is amazing. The best place to sit and chill.

Very clean and quiet hostel. The Melbourne Central location is super convenient, with the Victoria Market only a 2 minute walk away. The Manager is friendly and helpful. The kitchen is mostly clean and you have your own designated cupboard and fridge space. The price is reasonable at approx $144 per week. At time of writing I have a 4 person dorm room to myself and have only seen 3 other guests over the past 3 days.

Place is a station away from Victoria market. It’s super convenient getting to the city with the free tram. Place was clean and everyone is very considerate. The shared shower for room 103/105 has some issues with the heater so expect to wait quite a bit for the hot water. Enjoyed the stay there!

The place gave me a really comfortable rest and made my stay worth it. The people in it are so friendly, from staffs to other guests. The price is perfect as well, doesn't burn a hole in my wallet. Highly recommended for all.

A nice place to stay to explore Melbourne city. Close to shops, cafes, restaurant and Queens Victoria Market! The staffs are super friendly and helpful. It’s such a comfortable stay and highly recommended!! Definitely will come back next time :)

This was perfect for what we needed it was so clean from the moment we got there and the duration of the stay (3 days) The guy that runs after hours is 10/10 amazing, helped us with anything and everything we needed and if he couldn't help he seemed to find a way, it eliminated all the little stresses in between. For a cheap stay this one really surprised me and I'm glad I booked here 🤗😎

Awesome place to stay short term or long term. Great place to meet new people, located in one of the best places central to all sights and attractions Melbourne has to offer. Management are very friendly, would recommend!

The manager of the apartment is very conscientious and responsible. She helped me deal with everything I had, and her attitude is friendly. I think it's very warm here, recommended!

It is really the great place to make friends around the world. The staff in Ozihouse is super friendly. Location is very good, because it near to free tram zone and the rooms provided are very comfortable.
