Gaye's Vintage Shop

Great op shop with lots of vintage clothing as well as an assortment of regular clothes. Staff and volunteers keep the place very tidy and everything is well organised and presented.

It is a great place if you are looking for a wedding or bridesmaids dress for an actual wedding or a costume party.

The vintage section also has some modern items at very reasonable prices. I purchased a maxi pleated skit in a beautiful green colour with white polka dots well as a long wool mix work coat for $8 each.

They also sell some homemade chutneys and jams as well as biscuits.

There is seperate craft section.

I recommend visiting both this store and the larger store around the corner on the same day.

We love shopping at the Helping Hands store in knighton avenue.We have been coming here for years. Carol and the staff are so warm and friendly and their store is beautifully decorated.There are a lot of lovely items and clothes to browse through at very low prices. I would highly recommend visiting this store.

I highly recommend this op shop for future brides. They have a beautiful assortment of vintage dresses and the team are so lovely and helpful. Carol was amazing help with gathering flowers for our bouquets 💐 10/10!

I was honestly in shock when I walked in and saw the amazing quality of the stock at such low prices. Very friendly staff I’ll be going back all the time.

This is hands down the best vintage shop I have been to in Melbourne. The West truly is best when it comes to actual quality and pricing for vintage and op shops and this one takes the cake.

The pricing is extremely reasonable, the quality of the vintage clothes exception, and what really sets it above is that it has vintage clothing in larger sizes! I saw so much quality vintage that would fit size 14-18 women, which is SO RARE.

I bought a bunch of items that will slot seamlessly into my wardrobe and will be back for more!!!

One of my favorite Op Shops: due to the large affordable range in Paintings/Prints. Alongside this there is a good range of furniture/brick a brac.

Needless to say Staff are always very pleasant and helpful.

Awesome clothing and brilliant prices. Highly organised premises. Really impressive the way Gayes Vintage and Helping hands have been set up. Their secondhand clothing, crockery and furniture are very good quality. I buy all my work clothes through these two shops. I live 50mins away but make regular trips on a weekly basis. Well worth it!! The volunteer staff work hard and are extremely helpful. Love it, love it, love it

Delightful Op-shop, I picked up some amazing bargains! The staff are lovely and friendly. The stock was good quality and at very cheap prices.

My favourite little shop! The prices are amazing and I always find something I love. The first time I went I got two vintage dresses for $5, the second time I got a beautiful gossip bench for $20.The staff are always so lovely too 🥰

Love this op shop! Its the only one that hasn't become incredibly greedy unlike the others on Fullarton road and Preston. Especially the Preston store! (we can thank the greedy, capitalist managers there for the disgusting prices).

Love love love this op shop so much, they price things fairly and I've noticed that their items that don't sell straight away are always reduced until they do.
Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful
Items are always in pretty good condition
Shelves and racks are restocked CONSTANTLY so you won't have to worry about not finding a good bargain

I never leave this shop empty handed, 5 stars hands down

A must stop for lovers of op shops. The volunteers are beautiful and guaranteed to put a smile on your face even if you leave empty handed. A short drive away is the larger Helping Hands Mission for eggs, produce and plenty of bargains.
