Lane Restaurant & Bar

We stopped for dinner on a Saturday night. We made a reservation for a table for two. The team at the restaurant were friendly and very accomodating. We ordered our meal and drinks. We did not wait too long for the meals to arrive. We ordered the pork belly and chicken breast. Both meals were exceptional and tender. If you are looking for a nice meal in a pleasant setting I would highly recommend dinner at Lane Restaurant and Bar.

Amazing 3 course meal. Perfect service from Fang. We were celebrating a birthday and Fang made it very special. We loved that the restaurant had a nice ambiance and it was easy to chat

We had a wonderful meal and the service staff were excellent. Our dishes were delicious; both mains and desserts were excellent. The staff were willing and happy to accomodate our speedy timeframe to meet an appointment after our meal. Highly recommended!

Delicious food especially slow cooked pork belly, crackles 👌 desserts are heavenly - creme brûlée !! Amarello Sour was a hit too!

The atmosphere is good, the location is good, and the servers are especially friendly. the atmosphere and mood, and the servers that take orders or serve food are so kind.

The steak is so delicious.
It's so soft without smell, and the meat is really fantastic.

If I could stay in Melbourne for another day, I'd love to come here again...

Dinner tasted great. Friendly, efficient service from all of the staff. The atmosphere was lovely, we were seated next to the window looking out at Collins street from level 3.

I ended my day at the Food & Wine show at The Lane @ Novatel. I loved every dish that came out it was fantastic and was not expecting it at all. It will cost a bit but the food is really well made and it showed effort.

The restaurant itself was massive, it's kind of a bar and restaurant in one. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly, helpful and had time for you, very impressed indeed. I'll go back for sure.

Recently spent two wonderful weeks in Melbourne and dined at Lane Restaurant at Novotel on Collins every night.
Food was wonderful and the staff were great.

I went there for 3 breakfast and 1 dinner during my stay in Novotel Collins Street, Melbourne. For the breakfast buffet, there are varieties of food including hot food, omelet, congee, bread, fruit, cereal, juice, tea and coffee but the food is the same every day. The seats are sufficient, so I didn’t feel too crowd even in the peak hours. The Dinner was so far so good. I had the Soup of the Day and chicken breast and the portion was quite large to me so I didn’t try the dessert.

Food was awesome and the service is top notch. The chef was very accomodating too.

AMAZING. Casarecce was immaculate. Great service too!

Akit, Sabine, Nigel and staff were fantastic as was the food. Great customer service by all!
