Filled with hours and hours of easy to understand lessons, drum transcripts for when you're ready to challenge yourself and artist interviews for when you need that little bit of motivation. I would 100% recommend the Academy to anyone wanting to learn (or get better) on the drums.

The DK Drum Academy online course structure is excellent, its easy to follow and incrementally improves your skills on the kit in your own time. Dan is an awesome instructor that is down to earth, approachable and knows his stuff! Lots of key learnings are taken from every lesson whether it be one - on - one sessions or throughout the online course. Highly recommended!

Dan is an absolute legend, humble guy and great teacher. Dan has created a platform for all students ranging from all levels of expertise. His site is easy to go through and has you playing some of your favourite songs in a matter of weeks, Dan is very down to earth and I applaud how he shows his personality through his engaging video lessons. I hadn’t played the drums in about 15 years and was nervous at the thought of learning again as an adult but DK drums academy is honestly gods gift to anyone who wants to learn. It helps me massively having instructional videos at multiple speeds to watch and mimic, plus all the song transcripts and more. Dk has done an incredible job with this platform and honestly, it’s extremely cheap for everything on offer. If you’re looking to learn the drums and had any doubt about online, I can clear that doubt for you. This is even better as you can go back and rewatch or relearn at your own pace. Very well done DK and I can’t wait to keep progressing with you help 🥁

Highly recommend Dk Drum academy for any level drummer. Top level, proffessional tution with flexibility to learn at your own pace. My son had never played drums before seeing Dan. After 6 months he is playing beautifully, learning all the time from the online modules and carefully guided and taught by Dan in studio.

I never thought I would actually be able to learn playing the drums. DK is such an incredible teacher and breaks it down so well to be able to easily learn reading transcripts, understand timing and have fun all at the same time. Best experience and he’s always there to help if ever I’m stuck.

I have been a member of DK Drums Academy for about a year and a half now and despite the fact I have been drumming for over 20 years, this platform has been brilliant to advance my skills and allowed me to play things I never thought I could.
The 15 step fully-guided course has been meticulously thought out from as basic as how to hold a stick, moving up to learning rudiments, grooves and fills. Perfect for anyone who is a complete novice behind the kit. For the advanced players, not only is there that course to refresh the muscle memory but there are both drum playthroughs and transcriptions which allow you to hone in on certain parts and allow you to expand your playing through different genres and styles. Finally, having Dan and your teacher/mentor is amazing. Consistent feedback and assistance throughout the entire program and is always willing to either get you into the studio to work on things one on one, but is also available through his online forum/chat group whenever you need. Highly recommend anyone who is either interested in learning drums from scratch or anyone wanting to improve their already existing skills. I've learnt so much throughout my time with Dan and hope to continue for a long time to come

My word what a fantastic journey at DK Drums yet! I took some lessons w Dan in the studio pre Covid and before the academy was up and running a welcome experience one I hope to see again whenever in the area. Dan’s continued support and patience w my slow progress is killer, wishful to have started out in my younger years now as an adult life can get in the way which certainly has forme since those first lessons!
It is truely never too late to start pursuing your passion and this academy is pretty perfect community to be a part of, the future in DK drums looks stellar!
