David’s Master Pot 大味麻辣烫 (Glen Waverley) - Malatang, hotpot

My family adores mala hotpot, having developed a taste for it during our time in Singapore. Our first experience in Melbourne at David's Master Pot was exceptional—we savored every moment.
The standout features were its absence of any chemical taste and the perfect spice level (we ordered level 4).
While it's a splurge, it's definitely worth indulging in occasionally.

The best selection for family weekend moments. You can pick variety foods and cook in Pork Bone Soup, my daughter’s favourite, or spicy dry pot. All are delicious.

Very tasty hot pot. We been there first time and really enjoyed it. Minimum 400g for pot and 800g for stir fry, way to much, if you don’t share it.

One of my favourite places to eat when I'm craving comfort food! It's perfect for a cool day to have something warm for the stomach. They also have a quiet outdoor seating area at the back which you can chill with your friends.

The food is delicious and the service attitude is also very good 👌 Worth recommending

Great spot for some hot pot or stir fry. Friendly service with some quality food. This place follows the model selecting your ingredients from a bar and paying for it by weight. The staff will then take it to the kitchen and buzz you when ready. A plus for me is that you can get some nice levels of spiciness. The bowls you get are quite big so there’s enough I share or take home and turn into multiple meals.

A short walk from the glen or from the bus stop, an excellent stop for one that misses hotpot or mala. A discount for students from Mon to Fri before 5pm is also available now. So do stop by.

One of the good place to eat a hotpot would reccomend to come here if you like hotpot.

The interior design is really pretty, I especially love the table with designs of old Chinese money!

I went along with three other people, and ordered the original malatang and dry pot. I absolutely love the dry pot, lots of flavour! There are a range of meat, vegetables and seafood available!

Had a great experience at David’s master pot. Besides the amazing range of vegetables and meat, there are nice side dishes as well!!

I have to mention the great service that was offered. The staffs here were SO nice, were very patient with us taking a long time picking our food.

I would really recommend coming here with families and friends. You can share and have a blast!
