I am so sad this place is closing down. The staff and quality of brews has been nothing short of exceptional. Always gave friendly and helpful advice. I've been able to produce many tasty brews over the years from Grain and Grape. Special thanks to Ben who has helped me through countless issues. You will all be sorely missed and thanks so much for all the good times I've had brewing with you all

Friendly staff. Helpfully with set up and giving tips of where you went wrong. I have a bad back and they regularly help carry things to my car. Great service.

These guys are the perfect choice if you are looking to get into home-brew, or if you are looking to improve your overall product. Friendly, responsive and super excellent support. They also do a fresh wort kit if you want the fun of brewing but don’t have several hours spare to make your own all-grain recipe. I recently brewed their “Ben’s juicy NEIPA” and was extremely happy with the result. Seriously can’t praise these guys enough 🙏🏻

Can't go wrong with this place because it has very helpful staff, lots of ingredients and lots of equ equipment to get you going.
I started by brewing journey nearly 2 years ago and these guys have been great at giving me good advise to advance my brewing techniques.
Today I bought the brew in a bag tool kit and I look forward to my first all grain brew.

Sadly they are now closed, they very knowledgeable and the staff were very friendly. They should start an online business.

Best Brew supply store around. They actually live and breathe the art of craft brewing, unlike the guys at many of the chain stores who just don't get it. I've been a long time customer here.

UPDATE 13-Jan-2024:
It has been at least 8 or 9 years since I was last here. Some new faces, but still awesome staff. Of course, they had also rearranged the store and I couldn't find anything!! 🤣🤣 I got fast and friendly help though, and was pleased to see that they had plenty of everything that I needed, and a great selection of grains, yeasts, hops, adjuncts, and all the brewing paraphernalia you could wish for. Conveniently, they are also open on a Saturday morning.

If you'd like to lean how to create beer, wine, and spirits, this is the place to go for sensible advice, and they'll have all you will need to get started... after that, welcome to the obsession!!

Great supplier for home brewers - Simon, Matt and the team really know their stuff, and have helped me establish my nano-brewery - Beagle Brewing Co ! For small scale brewing combine G&G options and equipment with locally sourced engineering and you'll get a good start in the biz.

I'm not big reviewer, but I'd like to sincerely review how this company responds to customers. I live in Canberra, and we don't currently have A- Type Coupler in stock in Canberra, so I urgently ordered delivery from this company. Unfortunately, the answer that came back from this company was that this company also had no stock of the product. However, within almost five minutes, I received a e-mail again, that they had just received a new stock and would therefore send the product. They delivered it immediately, so I received the product today. I think the way this company treats customers is amazing. Quick response, quick action, and quick inventory status reply helped me run my business. I would like to encourage Ben, an employee who exchanged e-mails with me, with this review. Thank you.

Echoing the sentiments of the other customers - Ben's customer service was fantastic. Item sold out, offered a refund, then notified me as soon as the delivery came in and couriered out same day, no extra charge. Excellent service.

The best homebrew store in Melbourne by far. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help in any way. Always top quality ingredients and products. The demonstration days they have are really good also the live stream were fantastic. I’m always very satisfied after a visit to grain and grape 👍👍👍

Knowledge, product range and service second to none. Bought a 20lt Braumeister from these guys 12 years ago when I lived in Melbourne. Understandably the Brau pump got a little tired - rang these guys for help. Pumps no longer made for my model but they knew an aftermarket pump would work but needed some wiring - sent me the pump and walked me through it over the phone in 10 minutes- stoked - Better pump than the original!! I’m thankful every brew day for your help Ben and Matt cheers, 👍

A massive range of brewing ingredients, equipment, and friendly staff. Nice surprise seeing the salami equipment here too. Icing on the cake though is being able to sample some of the brews made up, featuring their fresh wort kits. Top stuff.

We bought an expensive spare part 6 months ago. Pulled it out to use and found it was broken. Phoned Grain and Grape to explain the situation and they were fantastic. No problem at all and sent it by express post asap. Perfect customer service. Thank you G & G.

The staff and service here is exceptional! Have bought beer and brewing kits in the past but lately have been coming here to buy and swap my CO2 cylinder, today the shop assistant showed me how to check it was empty for next time and even helped me carry it to the car!
